San Antonio Smash 4 Thread

My question, are there any regular weekly tournaments for smash 4 in san antonio?? We would both really like a group of people to play with consistently but aren't really sure where to start looking, mainly for smash 4 but melee could be nice as well. What are the most popular weeklies here in SA, if there are any?? Thanks in advance for any help!

if you are familiar with Blanco Road and 410, there are two widely known Smash 4 weeklies. Every Thursday afternoon at Otaku Cafe and every Sunday afternoon at Ultra Arcade. Melee is also included Sundays at ultra. Our community mostly uses Facebook group SA Smash 4.

Espy has been too busy not being in the threads anymore so you wont see any changes in the OP ever.

Otaku Cafe is still alive, we have those tournies on Thursdays.
Ultra Arcade is Sunday, and our new weekly that we just got super recently is Today actually. Starts at 7 for today's weekly at a vapure store. If you want more info go to the SA smash 4 group.

The SAM/WINGS monthlies have died late 2015 with only 22 entrants. The monthly revival Impact two weeks ago got 150+ entrants. The scene is still strong since the turn of the year with the weeklies averaging around 45-55 entrants by locals only, and up to 60-65 with OoC. Back then we only had up to 30.


The Smashboards thread will be barren since all the activity is happening in the Facebook group.

It's not. I don't know of any Smash tournaments they had that was students only actually.
