I think we shouldn't suggest about who's gonna get cut until the game actually comes out. Every character is going to change, and the character you originally mained in SSBM may not seem the same, therefore you might not play that character. Many characters from SSB changed drastically (Pikachu and Link, for example). It is almost like every character has disappeared because they will be changed, and we should also be very excited for what is to come with the new Smash Brothers.

Honestly, I think Sakurai is being really cryptic with his message. Its not really the best move to absolutely remove characters that people have become attatched to from the game, so I think he is actually going to make the clones into full-fledged characters with their own movesets, and/or greatly altered movesets.

So while the same "characters," in terms of movesets, wont be in the final game, the same characters WILL be.

I could be wrong though ^_^''

I really really hope this is what happend because i love marth/roy and fox/falco but if they go i hope its for a VERY good reason or a re-altering.

I think some of the hardest characters to program were Ice Climbers, Peach, and Zelda. Im afraid that of all of them Sheik is not going to reappear in SSBB.

I absolutely despise Wikipedia. They spoiled two major events in Star Fox Command for me when I was non chalantly juicing up my knowledge on characters from the series. They put spoilers on the stupidest stuff and leave them off on the most important stuff. Plus, Wikipedia staff are just annoying.

Wow all this stuff is great.This is much appreciated SamuraiPanda thanks for doing this.You must of put alot of effort into doing everything.Someone give this guy a medal.Anyway,I think slowing down the game isn't the best idea.The advanced aerial combat is a **** good idea as it open up the combat system,but slowing down the game is taking away what makes the SSB series so great......the speed at which you play.Oh well its already being done so as long as its not too dramatically slowed.Also as long as all the non clones return I dont care character wise who returns and who doesn't.Just as long as Sheik is still there......

I think I might know when we'll find out the next char that hasn't been shown yet, even if it's not stated by Sakurai. Starting last July, NP has a few paragraphs each month about one of the chars in the trailer. But by March, they'll have used up all nine chars shown so far. Now that I count that out, though, I'm hoping it's out by Spring at the latest, but since that seems a bit like wishful thinking, we'll at least know by April another char to be included. I just hope Doc is cut, I hate Doc with a passion. Btw, has anyone thought of Rayman? He doesn't seem as if he'd be a great char, but I'm sure the dev team could do some interesting stuff with him; he could have insane priority, that's for sure.

Hot **** I hope this game is better than Melee. I think Sheik might be cut or her own character *prays* but I really don't want anyone cut. I like doc and mario seperately... add more differences would be sweet but I like them both...

<chuckle> Glitch, you got to that one before me.

Shiek is probably going to be nerfed a bit if left in, as are Fox, Falco, and Marth probably, but if they do that, then they should make the chain actually useful, or just replace it. I'm betting Zamus' whip is going to be a bit like the chain, but hopefully will grapple the ledge like Samus' grapple. They could make Shiek's chain grapple the ledge, but I doubt that.

Thankyou sakurai!I shall greatly be pleased with brawl even though it will not be appreciated by others,though snake might change thier mind,They think nintendo is "childish" becuase it lacks violence and gore(they arent true gamers >_>)!
I will be satisfied becuase I will be sega and nintendo for life!It is a shame sega is going bankrupt, but I have all my faith in you now!
Now that I can go online, I will learn even more lessons of life through online!Even though it might use friend codes,you cant communicate and I can go on furoms to battle people!

Also,I forgot to mention 1 importent thing,glitches,debug menu and how easy it was to make ar codes!!

ahhhh,all the different black holes!Turnip hole,missle hole,dark hole,shyguy hole,reflector hole,giga bowser hole and the list goes on!
Then the awsome debug menu!
The only thing to make it better was adding the trophy levels to the level list!
Playing mini games such as trying to do break the targets while somone is trying to kill you then playing purify!oh oh oh,spamming all the items and playing as unplayable charactors then move swapping with a sandbagXDThen racing in the home run and playing around with item debuger and summon a tingle army in the test room untill the game freezes XDThen there is free falling in dummy X.X And move sawpping XD as much game freezes as move swapping had, it was JOYFULL!

Anyways,if any charactor could be in can it be Waluigi or NokoNoko(Koopa Troopa)?

Nov18 is my birthday and the will will be released 2-3 days after,so can Waluigi or a Koopa Troopa be a present?They are popular mario charactors but the thing is,waluigi is neglected >=(
Still,he is the star(other than wario) of most mario part spin off's so,I think he actually IS popular!And nokonoko(koopa troopa) is in probally nearly every mario game!

The music composer is billiant!The beyond good and recomposed music of the game is absolutely genieus!Brawl will be 2x as better =D
The remix of super mario bros 3 is one of my favorites and yoshi's island reminded me of smw.The fire emblem theme made me purchase fire emblem 7:blazing sword(fire emblem in the us)

The design of stages are funny.They are so...random,the more chaos the better! but keep in mind for tornement allowed stages k?I still love the un expected events though!You take fox,go on big blue,a roy noob is preparing a smash attack becuase you say u will barely attack them so you do reflecter and they are dead....pretty funny eh?Then icicle mountin falco's reflecter...the screen is quickly going down then you use it and they get knocked up and die!Now pokemon stadium.The rock terrain lefts you spam thundershock sooo much!Then the fourside ufo's...they are just random.just funny thats all,and now the funnyest part of random events ever...KRAID!!!I love brinstar deaths.The music owns and it is so cheap XDKilling cpu's with SANDBAG is soooo funny!WE NEED A NEW AI XDXDXD lol jkes.

I KNOW you canot and will not accept idea's from fans, but if your bored and want to get some entertainment you can read somthing I made for a video game idea contest and see if its worhy enough to win,also,all the letter is FINISHED!The rest of this is just somthing im using for a video game idea contest and becuase you own super smash bros I am showing you how super smash bros can be such a good influence in video game directment:

super smash bros game again,accept a ds rpg game starring the main heroes of nintendo:
mario, link,kirby,samus,pikachu,marth,fox,captain falcon!Maybe I missed 1....
The story of super smash bros was never revieled before!And I got a idea.The main charactor can of course be mario becuase hes the mascot and somthing happends with bowser were he finds a mysterious fource(master hand) which promises power in return for the final destiny orb located in a world created by master hand.Bowsers sets off in a journy to the world of super smash,which links to many many worlds.Bowser gets the final destiny orb then gives it to master hand,master hand turns bowser into giga bowser and trys to form a team to rule not only 1 demension but all of them.Giga bowser agree's and after the beggining cut scene,it takes place at mushroom kingdom castle were mario is going star gazing at the stars on the roof of the castle then peach notices a meteor which is VERY cloe to earth.Proffessor.e.gad gets called to look at the meteor with his super-scope2000 and discoveres it isnt a ordinary meteor.It is somthing resembling bowser.You mario, the player(and gfx on maps)have to escort everybody out of the castle which in the game you have to walk around the castle talking to everybody then go back to peach and then before they know it,bowser crashes.Peach runs and mario stays to fight him.Giga bowser summons a army of wire frames to attack the castle.It just so happends that giga bowser summons 2 goomba wire frames to see if you are to weak to fight a weak enemey like a goomba wireframe.This would technicly be tutoriel!Then giga bowser fights you,you take 999 dmg no matter what and you cant dealt dmg etc etc.Mario wakes up in a labratory on a medical bed and samus walks in the room explaining that when she found mario he was still unconscious for 2 months and about monsters from other demensions.This is technicly were the game begins.You go outside and samus will teach mario to be a bounty hunter too by going in yet another tutoriel battle!It explains partners and stuff.After that you pretty much have to handle the storyline.Sorry sakurai =(


Oh by the way,it may be a bit of a mario rpg but it is still mostly a super smash bros. game.It just revolves around mario but yyyeah.Still its only natural right?Mario is just the main star,the other heroes are also the stars but mario is the main star.A super smash bros game is traveling to other game worlds recruiting people in the game world right?Also for the games sake(if you like the idea) use sprites x.x itll let people make super smash bros comics or flash movies and itll save ALOT of room in the game to make it be very good!

A feture that can be good is a arena.You can do battles on wifi against your friends via friend code.

Each charactor could have thier own weapons,unique attacks, and later in the game they could learn magic!Each charactor can either be best with 1 specific weapon or magic then be almost be best with another then medium with others and very bad with 1.Mario can be best with fire magic and almost best with hammer weapons.Each charactor can learn every magic but you have to buy them in a shop and they are really expensive!

each charactor would be able to have specific weps like this kinda

Although pikachu would be unique,he is kinda like the mage you would see in rpg games.He is almost best in every magic but is best in thunder magic.

ps.Do not be discouraged by sony!They are stupied idiots who try to make good video game designment and fail to, so they focus on the graphics and overate them.People only like them becuase of the graphics.They are idiots who are all "Im cool" type of guys, ignore them and focus alot of the gameplay much more then the crap graphics that "fake" gamers expect!Of course I underestimated the wii's power but some people love colorfull games today.Its why I constintly play yoshi games, after all he is my favorite charactor!
