Registration is OPEN the tourney will be during thanksgiving break.

Registration: Simply just post that you want to enter and your friend code. All Ness players will be accepted.

I'll handle all the brackets and seeding.

Rules:

1.Double elimination/ 1vs1

2.No stalling

3.No items

4.Three stocks with 8:00 timer

5.Best 2 out of three however the finals will be 3 out of 5

6.All disputes over wins will be settled by Me I will not state how it's settled in order for people not to take advantage over it. I will say that it is pretty fair

7.A player can choose to ban up to 2 stages, 1 neutral and 1 counter

8.Resetting the match for no reason leads to disqualification

10. If there is too much lag between you and your opponent warn me right away, this way I can change who you two will face. If you play the matches for 30 seconds it will count.

11. All timer run outs will be settled by percentage and stock. If both were the same you two will play a 1 stock over time.

How to counter pick efficiently: If you don't get your stage choice, in the first 30 seconds of the match reset it. Repeat until you get your stage if you are the loser of the last round and counter picking

Banned: Everything else

If both players agree on the stage it can be played.

While there is no set set time and date I will set deadlines for matches. Meaning I need the results by a certain time. The date will be set once registration is complete.

I am expecting registration to finish this Friday with the first match deadline being sometime on saturday.

Once all the results of the first sets are recorded the next round will begin.

Okay guys I'll answer some questions. First things first.

The deadline for registration will be appoximently 5:00pm eastern on Friday.

Round one will be from 6:00pm eastern to 12:00pm eastern this friday, however, if you and your next opponent have finished both round one, I'll be glad to let you battle and record those results. Contact your opponent Via Pm or other. Set your time to battle.

Disconnecting does NOT lead to disqualification. Only reseting the match for no good reason.


Deadlines look like this so far. If any problems occur they are open to change.

Round 1 10/3/08 6:00pm est to 12:00am est
Round 2 10/4/08 12:00am est to 5:00pm est
Round 3 10/4/08 5:00pm est to 10:00pm east
Round 4 10/4/08 10:00pm est to 10:00am next day
Round 5 10/5/08 5:00pm est to 12:00am

Round 6 and beyond: set times with your opponents. I understand that people may have different schedules. I can extend this tourney even further out into Next week. I hope to finish by Wednesday

If you would like the round times and dates changed I can do that. For the most part I'm very open to change in this because of the nurmerous schedules people have.

If you can't play the round at a certain time contact your opponent and me. This way I know you aren't just trying to hold the process up.

If it takes this weekend and all of Next weekend I'm fine with it but just don't put it aside and hold the rest of us up.

So yes the majority of the rounds must be played this weekend Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Expecting about 16 people guys.

Just because rounds are going on doesn't mean you can't play the winning opponent who you happen to be playing Next

Meaning that If Ness A and Ness B are facing round 1 and Ness A wins
Also Ness D and C are facing round 1 and Ness C wins but it's still round 1 Ness C and A can face and I'll gladly record those results It's sure to speed things up.

Seeding process will be on location and other factors.
