Delph, do you still work at Round Table? If so, your manager is a *****. "I can't disclose that information, yada yada." I said, "Okay, I'll just ask someone else." The next person I asked didn't even know who you are.

Stop putting music over videos. If we wanted to listen to music, we'd mute it and open our media players. Not to mention sound is a good 8-10% of one's peripheral coordination, thus making it a requirement for any competitive gaming.

I might make it, I get off work at 9AM and then have the next day off. Drunkenness, anyone?

EDIT: What time does it start?

Well then. Bad day for Jihnsius I guess?
Although I did play poorly, I've come to the realization that I don't have the time to invest in competitive Melee. BTT and HRC have always appealed to me more and can be done without any traveling, so I'll just stick to that.

Is there anyone who lives in (or, for that matter, knows wtf it is) Vacaville? I'm smack dab in between Sac and San Fran.

I'm just looking for local smashers.
:3 I live in Vacaville. AS a matter of fact, we have SSBM Tourney's at VHS....during lunch at least. But most of us have just started competitively smashing recently, so not many "Pro's" yet.

Paul won. I may have finally learned to fight Peach though, so next time might be different. I only figured it out in the last game of our set this time though.

Results:

1. Paul
2. Tom
3. me
4. DRGN
5. Catnip
7. Tyde?
7. ES-Gin

Darns. Tom took me out of both halves of the bracket. Though, the actual worst part about it isn't the losing itself, but that nobody ever sees how close the sets are, they just see that Tom won. Again. About everytime we play I swear it comes down to 3rd -or 5th in finals- match, last stock, high percents each, next solid hit wins the set. Jeez; never ceases to amaze/baffle me, lol.

Though, as much as I dislike Fox's "cover all bases" approaches which seem to get me in the end, I don't wish Tom played a different character. After all, he's in my crew, so I want him to be good. But besides that, I've gotten a lot better at the match-up of Fox now. I realize it'd be a lot different to fight a different Fox, even of the same skill level, but at least I know a lot more of the properties, movesets, tactics, against the character itself; basically just what I can and can't do.

I just realized something though.... When I play against someone new: even if I know what's possible to do against a character, it's not uncommon for me to still hold off on doing much at all until I've got a better understanding of the player.... Maybe I should just jump in and try what does and doesn't work with a bit of guesswork right off the bat. Maybe that would be something better to do against something as quick as Fox? It's just that I feel that's the inefficient way maybe? Though now, I suppose maybe 'guess & then check' is preferable to 'avoiding risks to learn' to begin things, at least against top-to-high tier, where speed is high. Or maybe I'm just playing against people who focus on bumrushing their opponent, and I only know what to do about it if they try to play more mentally. Ah! So many factors, gah, Smash is so great. I wish I could just sit down and play & learn from some really good players... learn how they dissect things in (and concerning) a match.

So what should I do? Post it in my blog? lol

Those are genuine thoughts that I'd like feedback from (if I get any good criticism at all it would've been worth it), should I just not say them at all to save a bit of infinitesimal space? Maybe you were kidding, but I couldn't be sure since I've had people complain about my post's length before. I don't really see the big deal to tell you the truth, lol.

Anyways, I think you're right to not come to the TAG, since you'd be traveling for just a couple hours of play. But why not come to ender's games? I'm pretty sure they stay open late.

ender, how late can the venue have people?

So I just bought a box of Lorwyn. I've got enough packs left to do a 6-man draft. Delf, DRGN, SiD, you guys in? Chris and Nick will be in for this too. But I'm keepin all the cards, this particular draft will be for fun. kk?

Kono wa Derufiki desu.

Tom I probably want some cards from the box. We can probably do the draft at Razr's house any day this week. Will you have Saturday off?

I'll ask him today if we can do it at his house. If not we can do it here.
