lol jiggs and technical should never go in the same sentence

Na they can't (she's definitely not noob friendly)
Doesn't make her technical in the sense other characters are though

Puff is probably the easiest character in the game to just pick up and do ok with.
And thats probably a fact.

The difference in tech skill between her and all the other top tiers is ridiculous
And the chars that control easier than her are just bad anyway. Are there characters that control easier than her? lol Jiggs so easy.

I heavily disagree.

I mean there's a reason jiggs was like low tier in melee for the first few years, and has only recently become top tier.

Sheik is definitely the easiest character to pick up and play.

@Azernus Look up videos of Mew2King's and Amsah's Sheik in the mean time.

Take note of how they play, try not to be too distracted by the ****.

@Ghostbone
Jigglypuff is hard to use at top level, she is pick up and play at low-mid level.

Ehh that's understandable...
Though depends on your definition of low-mid level.
imo SA is low level lol, I wouldn't say just picking up Puff would do well here compared to other characters.

What Grim said.

Pick up and play.

But the learning curve is outdoing opponents who space just as well as you do and know the MU. Until you play people that know the MU its a bit breezy. Thats from experience. With some basic spacing knowledge I just picked up Jiggs never practiced and did kinda ok for a while. I was just a bit worse than Jei (imo). But when I played peeps like Redact and Dekar, I knew the road for Jiggs was gonna be long one way or another.

So I thought I might as well pick up a char like Falco where the road is already long just to beat anyone at all (so much tech :c) but a char i enjoy far more.

I venture a estimated guess (with some knowledge backing this up) that my pick up and play Jiggs would do moderately well in the SA scene if I just butted into a tourney. I expect Grim is much better since RC and so are the rest of you though. I know my Jiggs isn't :p

@ Grim/Ghost, yeah ive seen the vids/know the diffs. the vids are how i picked up sheik in the first place.,mostly Capt Jack and Amsah though.

if i can be bothered getting a wii and/or GC controller, i might get back into it. i do enjoy good smash :)

i for 1, could not PuP puff. for a multitude of reasons. couldnt even beat seth with her >.>

Well at RC I beat someone in bracket with my effortless Jigglypuff.
Mason didnt make it out of pools with his somewhat trained ICs.

Grim was a good melee player then too yeah?

Seriously though you cant say any char (except maybe Peach? I dont know Peach) has as little tech as Puff in the high tiers, and any low tier char that is easier to use, isnt good enough to back it up.

The first char I tried was Sheik and it was goodtimes and learning how to use Bair and SH was a fun process. But Jiggs was just loljiggs. and the first time I used Jiggs was better than about a month of Sheik (only just starting competitive melee at the time, choosing char)

on this whole jiggs sheik discussion I found jiggs alot easier moving from brawl to melee.
That said my first win was with falco against gohsts fox.
I must say however that my jiggs was preeeeeeeeety leet.
