It's OK Turtle. Let QLD have their victory over a sandbagging Cao. I always lose when I decide to handicap myself with Marth. That should really come as no suprise; Emily 2-0'ed me twice a couple of weeks ago because I did the same thing and went Marth in winners for fun. So we if use Billy's superior logic, she is by far the best in the nation LOL

See, the smart thing about Emily and many others is that she knows when she isn't getting the real deal. Apparently QLD people can't tell. They'll take what they can get.

I won't bother debating such a weak opinion any further - the Rocky Melee poll speaks for itself.
even i wrecked ur marth yesterday cao its crap

Cao's always used Marth to Sandbag.

I remember when he came to QLD for Syke's CoK (lol) and we played a set of three. He used Marth first and my Sheik beat it. Then he said it was time to play serious and wrecked me with Peach.

I hope Kas or Ryan wins, but it'll be a long road for sure.

I don't think he sandbags me, at least I don't like to think so.

I hope Shaya can fix our videos coz I'd like to watch back our most recent matches.

I wish I could view those Melee votes to see how much of it is Melbourne.

Weak opinion.

Half the people that voted for Cao probably have never even seen Kas.

I loled.

Kas will win. I've put 50 bucks on him winning.

We've only played in a tournament once, 2 years ago or something, at Sydney, back when I was cr@p.
And I don't think we've played any friendlies.
So that's 2 out of 2 matches we've ever played - GG.
But I'm still worried mainly with Cao, since he beat me so drastically, and he's got mega America training against Marthy (and just in general).

... So who's coming to Squat? We don't have an attendance thing like for Rocky.

Hmmm I see, well the stats don't always tell the full story I guess.

There's no shame in having a 0% winning record vs Cao, I have one of those XD Unless you count every game coz I've taken a couple here and there.

But for mine he is king of Aus atm - too smart 2gud. Hype for Rocky.

I don't want to say anything like I can beat Cao or that Cao can beat me, or even for Emily.
Just try my best, and if I lose, oh well, fair and square, I admit that Cao is a good player already, and anyway, there's always another time.
I just really don't want to lose because I need the money more than he does. XD

I prefer the same Kas. Personally, I don't like the pressure of having to perform because of the way this community reacts to results. I get booed, jeered and trashtalked when I travel interstate - it's a horrible feeling and I only get it because people from whatever region take their support so seriously they start to disrespect the visitor playing (this happened to me yesterday and I almost forfeited). This makes me like people less. I wish that whenever I play the environment is friendlier, because we're supposed to be friends.

I don't want to make any bold statements about my skill either (in all sincerity) and I don't take results at face value. I already know of your capabilities and that of everyone else's and respect that too.

You got nothing to worry about, Kas is so **** at Brawl and Melee =D

But yes, state rivalry does tend to get a bit out of hand at times... people need to take a step back and relax.

It's ok for some rivalry, just don't over do it =)

Such diplomatic posts - I like your style guys :)

Both great players and great men too *tear*

Oh and Cao who was jeering at you yesterday? I hate to think that people were being untoward and I hope I wasn't one of them :( If I was it's not supposed to be srs, you know we all <3 you here and think you're amazing.

Ryan - Winning 2 sets of best-of-5 from losers is a huge handicap. That's what I willingly set for myself up for, so the win was already yours.

**** me for trying to have fun.

Only, Cao plays for funzies whilst being really good at the same time. But (and rightly so) won't let his playing ability be so freely criticized.

Don't take tournament results at face value is what he said I think.

lol, I guess that's true.

I guess that's why he invented Caotic's stupid rule in the first place.
(No money goes to Cao if he places).

Pretty much, even if you were sandbagging you can't make it an excuse to say that's why you lost when you did it willingly.

And I agree - there's no motivation to win when you always win.
However, for me, it's different, because I need money. C:

I said ages ago the win is yours. You can decide to take the result seriously if you wish, but I won't, because I didn't take it that seriously. Done.

Kas - People want to know. I've avoided the discussion for a while now, but people often bring it up, so I speak up.

On the topic of sandbagging though, I don't know why people even sandbag in the first place.

Why not try during a match? I don't understand how people can even think about doing this.

It annoys me so much that people can do it and not care whereas other people try their ***** off just to place top 5 etc.
