I know Swiss. You have to work with him to get what you want, he's stubborn. Him reacting to you that way is null, and I know this is partial meta.

You are looking too far into things, I was merely stating that to gain a read on Swiss, I get personal with him, I try and work with him not against him, I swear you cannot read. It's like you ignored everything I said.

Out of curiosity, why did you feel the need to rebuke Spidermang? Lacking intuition here, but I just don't find it to be a stance that town would immediately take. You've got a fairly good idea there. Because I didn't like his push regardless of my read on Swiss, the way he acted read completely jumping the gun for no reason. Like I said, I either thought he was pulling RVS shenanigans, or was bull****ting. I didn't understand the logic to just completely jump on Swiss like that.

I thought about it again and 180'd, though, understanding that regardless of how I felt in the instance, pursuing it any long would deem pointless.

@Zapp: But the fact he targeted Swiss specifically and made him answer despite a very reasonable chance Swiss has not played with either player at all is just awkward to me. The question isn't about those players. He's blindly targeting Swiss with poor attempts to get a read from Swiss and turned it into a power play when Swiss refused to answer. That doesn't read protown to me at all.

@Swiss: I think Ran and I will work well together as a hydra. He'll do most of the activity and I'll just try and steer us in the right direction.

Vote: S-tier. I find it extremely scummy that he claimed town in his first post. The whole, "my partner didn't get the pm" thing is bull****, and even if that were true then he shouldn't have posted it in thread anyway. It's silly to claim town right off the bat, and I don't trust anyone who does claim town immediately.

Seeing you state this sort of disappoints me. I had hoped that if anyone was going to directly look at Swiss's play and come out with a scum/town case it would be you, Xonar, J, ect. who are people who have experience not only playing forum mafia, but playing forum mafia with Swiss or methods to capture players like him. I didn't see a reason though to call out Spidermang so soon, as there was still information that could be gotten from the push.

Swiss won't respond to pressure that way. As I stated in that post, it works on newbies who don't know better or something a lot more solid as a jumping point. That particular route had neither. The original question was weak and Swiss wasn't gonna fall for the "GIVE ME INFORMATION OR DIE" card. He knows he's a stronger player than Spidey, and that's why I called Spidey on it. I'd rather the thread not get turned into some gigantic power struggle between two stubborn *******s.

This still does beg the point of why he quickly succumbed to Swiss' will and started doing exactly what he was told though. If you don't trust someone, you'd think they normally wouldn't give you what they want, would you?

And this isn't to say there aren't ways of catching Swiss or getting a successive read on him. Just that was sorely not the way to go about it. Right now, though, I haven't gotten a lot on Swiss anyway but I still find myself capable of trusting his judgment. I'm just not signing each of my posts though.

For one, Soup arguing that the optimal play would be to comply with Swiss strikes me as being largely unnecessary, especially when pressure was being applied early into the game and Swiss-Spidermang debate was infantile enough that it didn't realistically hinder either party from realistically scumhunting other slots at the same time. Don't know why Soup is playing the white knight, but I don't think a big boy like Swiss needs a lap dog.

Soup explained it, but yeh, there's a shocking amount of sheep already for someone whose basic actions thus far have been to call out Spidey's bull**** and then demand all hydras start identifying the poster at the time.

I mean, that JTB fella, that guy's the biggest sheep of 'em all.

Just finished reading posts 1-39. I find it odd that Spidermang comments on his first game with Swiss in his 12, I guess it shows that Swiss is "Famous" to some extent, maybe scary would be a better word considering Xonar's 12. He then asks for Swiss's opinion on a couple players in his 21. Why wouldn't he want to ask these questions to someone he has played with and is familiar with? Considering he just goes for voting Swiss in his 32 and then he pushes in his 36, it looks like he is hunting anti-town players ATM. I don't think Spidermang is reading intentions or thinking his posts through so I do not like him.

Swiss is null to me, this is just how he plays lol.

I like our vote where it's at, Xonar's 180 from having that above-all feeling to himself right to him being more on Swiss' side is grimy. I don't like Zap either, even though Vanz made it look better like my other half said. The fact is Ran did a good job at doing a lot of really stupid things, and I'm definitely leaning moreso toward scum than dumb. Account with No Name's weird too, but it may just be Jimbo being Jimbo idk. Everyone else seems okay to me.
