My role PM doesn't actually tell me whether I'll be saved or not by using my ability. I may actually end up getting lynched anyway but at least I can give you the chance to lynch somebody else alongside me, at worst. But the role PM does call me 'Town Governor' even though I'm some sort of modified Governor.

Not a hell of a lot to say at the moment. I'm kinda occupied by other stuff at the moment, just cannot resist the allure of 'watched threads'. Unsure how I feel about the Gheb lynch suggestion atm. I've got him in my pile on PoE, but I need to read your case in more detail.

actually now that I think about it, it could be pretty useful. if someone is lynched and in twilight shows they're obvtown / obvscum that'd be good. And you can use that lynch to get a lot of info without actually committing to losing someone
