I think this rapscouter has a really interesting idea, whether he's lying or not. But then again, when I look at incentive I can't find any. Why would somebody who knows this stuff want to play a game with the public? But it would be no surprise that a fake would do something like this, because honestly kooky people on the net enjoy making up things to tease people.

I don't know what to think. I DO think he should at least exposed the lies at some point in time. We can use logic to decipher things, but frankly not everything that Sakurai has done was logical. So it's really just a big guessing game, and we won't know the results until we either we get a full leak.

Falco will return due to his popularity.
-Believable

Wii Bowling, Wii Shop, and Big Boss Blue's are all music in the game.
-Not quite sure what these are, so I'm not gonna bother.

Poke Floats 2, and a level based on one of Bowser's airships will be in SSBB.
-Believable. Bowser's airship might be based on the ones in Superstar Saga and Partners in Time

There will be DLC new levels and possibly items, ATs, and characters.
-This would be awesome! But it makes it sound like MUGEN, a fighting game in which you could download new characters (and create your own) and stages.

The Ditto pokeball pokemon most of you thought was a lie, well if it was and even if it wasn't a lie, let me continue giving you some more information on him, when he comes out of the ball he copies the character that threw the ball, and unleashes their final smash. That's the reason I said he was really powerful.
-A bit farfecthed, but this Sakurai we're talking about.

Rawk Hawk, Tricky, Twinrova, and kremlings are going to be Assist Trophies.
-Ah, Rawk Hawk. Good times. No idea who Tricky is though...

The boss battles from The Legend of Zelda in the Subspace Emissary are going to be big and epic.
-Aren't they all?

Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman are all the assist trophiess from Sonic that I know of.
-I'm guessing Doc will be a boss. Not sure about the other two. I'm hoping one is a character.

About 65% of the hidden characters are unlocked in the Subspace Emissary.
-Meh.

There is a level called Through Time and Space.
-This strongly reminds me of the Time and Space Pokemon, Dialgia and Palkia. Maybe this will involve them as bosses?

Luigi will be able to jump higher and run faster, but slide sorta like in Super Mario Galaxy.
-Believable. Though a friend told me how Luigi's sliding is annoying.

Super Smash Bros. will be on the Virtual Console Feb. 4th.
-Not gonna go into this. VCs are out of my knowledge.

Blastoise, Zapdos, Luxray, Combusken, and Grovyle will be pokeball pokemon.
-To the people that say Pokemon in the same evolution line can't be Pokeball Pokemon together, I got two names for ya:

There will be no more delays, this game will be out Feb. 10th. This game is Finished and has been finished the only reason it was delayed is so it didn't conflict with Super Mario Galaxy's sales.

-I hope so.

Metal Gear Solid will have three ATs, Cyber Ninja, Revolver Ocelot, and someone else who will bring a smile to your face. Revolver Ocelot stands on on side of the level and rapidly fires at everyone other that the person who threw the AT.
-Not going on this because of my poor knowledge of MGS.

Many people will not be surprised by the third 3rd party character, but many will be.
-I wonder who it is....

Sothe, Trace, Professor Oak, and Kiddy Kong are Assist Trophiess.
-I can see Professor Oak doing something like Resetti, but with an educational intro of the Pokemon World. A twist would be that whenever he brings out a Pokemon, it'll attack a random fighter. Not sure who Trace is...

Luigi's Mansion, Gorons Mountain, and Kaptain K. Rool's ship are levels in SSBB.
-Believable. LM was a stage in Mario Kart DS as well.

The third 3rd party's character level is from the same series, but not from the same game as him.
-Meh. Confusing, but meh.

1/2 of the SSB levels and 1/3 of SSBM levels are going to be in SSBB with improved graphics.
-Believable. ANYTHING can happen!

There's really a forth third party character that's gonna blow minds, don't who it is because my friend wouldn't even tell me.
-I hope so and I think I know who it might be. At least I hope so.

The Frozen Flower, Bob-Omb, and the Red Shell are all items in SSBB.
-Yeah, yeah.

Salamence, Hitmochan, Hitmonlee, and Staru are all pokeball pokemon.
-Beliveable. I mean Meowth is back, so why not Hitmonlee. Hitmonchan, I'm not so sure of.

Saffron City, Sector Z, Hyrule Castle, Mushroom Kingdom and Dream Land will return with improved graphics.
-I loved Saffron City.

In Subspace Emissary there will sometimes be guest characters that join up with you, that will not be in the playable character roster.
-Um....strange. Will this be like an escort mission? Carrying a poor victim to the end without having them die on you?

Well, for starters I'd like to say that the reason I haven't posted in a day or so is the NFL playoffs. But since the Titans have little to no chance of victory, I've decided to post now

Also, there was a great deal of questioning about Ness' moveset, which is obviously my fault for not proofreading. csaskater figured it out, though:

Well, almost. PK Thunder is still Up+B, and the pillar of fire attack is regular B. I really don't know what I was thinking when I posted it; all I can guess is that I thought about the fire going up, and thus I absent-mindedly said it was Up+B. Sorry about the confusion.

Also, in regards to that moveset and any OTHER future moveset, I have not seen or played Brawl. As I said before, I simply have a source, so blame him/her for any lack of detail you may find.

Now, to answer a few questions/complaints:

I simply meant that Ness was the returning veteran. I didn't mean he was the only one returning. As for Sheik, she's basically already been confirmed so I'll go ahead and reveal that one. Sheik is, indeed, back.

Nope. Doesn't Sakurai himself post the updates? If not him, surely it's someone close to him in Japan, whereas my source is here in America.

Why does Fox use guns? If I remember correctly, the only weapons he's used in non-flier games are melee weapons as well. Fox never had a moveset since he was always a pilot before SSB, so they completely invented a moveset for him, too. As for the type of weapon, I don't know. All my source told me is melee weapons, but I'll be able to contact him in a couple weeks so perhaps I'll know then.

If that was the case, the entire roster would have been on the internet months ago. You obviously don't know a whole lot about this subject, so I'll simply tell you to look up the posts by Other Steve a few years ago. He revealed information, and it was ALL correct, but he refused to give his source.

No, I have neither seen nor played the game. Thus, I will likely never know official attack names.


Sorry if I missed any other questions. Before I reveal a couple ATs, I'd like to say that I won't know of any ATs unless I specifically asked about a character and was informed they were, indeed, an AT. So don't ask me, because I likely won't know. Anyways, here are a few new ATs:

Raiden
Pokemon Snap(the trainer, plus his vehicle)
Tails

And finally, the new character...Lucario. This one should have been pretty obvious. He's the most popular Pokemon from the new generation, and he's also been hinted at by various reliable sources. There was a rumor regarding Lucario replacing Mewtwo...it's part true, part false. Mewtwo is not playable, but in no way does Lucario "replace" Mewtwo in terms of his moveset. Lucario is much faster and agile, and more physical. I guess he plays somewhat like Fox, although his special moves are much different. His Up+B is similar to Mario's, probably Sky Uppercut. His B move is probably called Aura Sphere. He charges it, very similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball(perhaps the reason for the replacement claims?). Over+B is Extremespeed, a little weaker than Fox's but doesn't have as much delay. Down+B is Reversal, I'd assume. He defends himself, blocking some melee attacks and repelling projectiles incredibly fast. His regular attacks are much more physical. I've been told he's very powerful and quick, but can't take many hits. Of course, that is just my source's opinion.

Next update, I'll probably reveal another AT and newcomer. I just haven't decided who yet.

Thats a logical way of looking at it. What CZ just meant was that Mew2=gone and Lucario=in. . . I have no idea why anyone would get a "moveset transfer" out of that. Plus, his (ChaoticImpolsion) Ness info and SF character info sounds like crap and contradicts what CZ said (and Ness's move-set sounds really restarded. I have yet to see anyone who played the Mother series claim these to be actual attacks from his game.)

There's a video on Youtube with pics of custom made Kirby hats. One of them was a Klonoa Kirby. I member commented on that video saying (and I quote)....

yes and melee/sakurai stated on Paula's trophy I believe that the idea was that she taught him the PSI moves since his dont correlate all that well. Also: the baseball bat and yoyo are his equippable weapons in the game.

I'm sorry, but I don't beleive anything you've said yet. In which I mean, I don't think you have anymore knowledge then any of us have. You have done nothing to prove your more credabile then anyone else, yet everyone thinks you have something.

I'm telling everyone here not to believe Serebii any more then any of these other guys. So far, the only credible source is Starmen.net. They are the only one who has been correct on ANYTHING. They actually said something they know and it turned out to be right. Serebii has done neither. If Serebii says something is fake or not, he doesn't know. For all we know, he could be just like these "Prophets" making up the info.

If he (you) can prove that you do, indeed, know something, then I will believe you. Until then, you are a "prophet" (that words not meant to be mean, but I need something to describe it).

I have to agree with Smash Chu for the most part. I have actually wondered why you would openingly state you "know" such and such but never gave us reason to believe so. Sure, big pokemon site owner who leaked DP stuff. . . but hell, that guy who talks about how he "tosses in 3 lies every post" also leaked DP stuff so maybe we should look at him more.

But, like I said, the guy states that he made some of them up so what Serebii said in regards to those stages really don't effect anything as of now.

No, I don't think that could possibly have been the reason. Both games would have sold, after all it's Christmas. From other reports though, like those at E for All, Brawl was a bit glitchy.

Well...I guess we have to wait and see? Personally, I doubt that there is a 3rd third party character at all. Certainly if the last one isn't announced by the Japanese release, then there isn't one at all, since it will defeat the purpose. They have to be hyped.

Metal Gear Solid will have three ATs, Cyber Ninja, Revolver Ocelot, and someone else who will bring a smile to your face. Revolver Ocelot stands on on side of the level and rapidly fires at everyone other that the person who threw the AT.

The gun thing I don't think is a big of a deal as people make it out to be...but it does seem rather generic. The third person may be Raiden, if some of those Festa reports are to be believed, but there's barely any way to confirm them.

Ditto is an extremely powerful pokeball pokemon.

From what I heard, Ditto copying, and using a FS, this seems like a total lie. It's too cheap, and seems like something a fan would make up.

Many people will not be surprised by the third 3rd party character, but many will be.

Again, this is inherently flawed, because there's the automatic confirmation of the 3rd third-party character. This character may not exist at all really. Sakurai said one or two, and he could have stuck with the former. The fact that this poster uses the term as such, makes me think he's faking this all.

Sothe, Trace, Professor Oak, and Kiddy Kong are Assist Trophiess.

We've heard about Sothe already. Who's Trace exactly? That hunter from MP? That just seems to dull. The standard AT has more importance than the likes of him. Professor Oak is also a unlikely canidate, seeing as...well we have Pokeballs. What exactly does this guy think that we think this hypotherical AT would do? Lastly, Kiddy Kong...Why exactly him? A regular trophy maybe, but not a AT. Like I said, most ATs seem to actually have importance....maybe I'm being to harsh on Kiddy though...

Luigi's Mansion, Gorons Mountain, and Kaptain K. Rool's ship are levels in SSBB.

Well we already know about that possible Luigi's Mansion, though personally I am thinking it may actually be a Ashley stage. (Note, I don't think that character will be in, but I just think there are some Mario stages that would take precedent, and making it a WW stage would be a nice write off, and also let Luigi have a mansion home stage irregardless.) Goron Mountain? No, I don't think this will happen. There's no real importance for the place, and plus, it's TP overload. I really think that the next Zelda stage will branch out and cover something from the WW style of games. Lastly, K.Rool's ship...well I guess it could work, but it's a shot in the dark if you ask me.

The third 3rd party's character level is from the same series, but not from the same game as him.

Again, he refers to it like this. Really doesn't seem right. Same series? What exactly does that mean? Am I reading it wrong? Well until I know what that is, I won't comment on this.

1/2 of the SSB levels and 1/3 of SSBM levels are going to be in SSBB with improved graphics

Yikes that's a lot of past stages. I don't really think it will be that much at all. Isn't that areound 13 stages? And updated graphics? We didn't get those for Temple, so why would we get them now? And doesn't that kinda defeat the point of them being past stages?

There's really a forth third party character that's gonna blow minds, don't who it is because my friend wouldn't even tell me.

Not much to comment here. Still falls in line with the fact that I think the guy is faking this and automatically went with the fan-made flow of a definate 3rd third party.

The Frozen Flower, Bob-Omb, and the Red Shell are all items in SSBB.

The frozen flower maybe. I would think something like that would have been seen by now, yes? Well anyways, the others are too likely not to return.

Salamence, Hitmochan, Hitmonlee, and Staryu are all pokeball pokemon.

Salamance could possibly be in, but who knows with him. Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee would need Hitmontop, right? Well, I guess not. Pokemon balance was never really a steady thing. (Poor Totodile.) Still the Hitmonlee thing wouldn't be hard to believe. If Onix is true, then it does seem Sakurai's bringing back the old pokemon. Hitmonchan would just be a plus...though it does kinda seem redundant with Little Mac there. Staryu is confirmed.

Saffron City, Sector Z, Hyrule Castle, Mushroom Kingdom and Dream Land will return with improved graphics.

So these are the one half stages? As said before, it seems weird that they'd update the graphics, which kinda defeats the point. What's weirder is that Hryule Castle would be in, when we already have Temple. That really doesn't seem likely. Also, we have a perfectly good Corneria, so why use Sector Z, and update the graphics when you already have it?

The Soundtrack for this game will be epic, there are supposedly over 200 songs in this game. It will have everything from The Super Mario Bros theme to The Metal Gear Solid theme.

Well..I can't really comment here. There really could be that much...no, I think it will be less.... Anyways, that little "everything from" was a little frail, wasn't it? It just took two main themes which were pretty much assumed.

In Subspace Emissary there will sometimes be guest characters that join up with you, that will not be in the playable character roster.

This seems really unlikely, but then again I could be wrong. Just the way works though... Heck, it seems like something Sakurai would have already mentioned.

Tauroneo, Impa, and Boo are Assist Trophies.

Wow, this has to be one of those ones he meant people to figure out as a lie. Tauroneo? Why would he even be there? That's like the most random FE character. Impa also is too obscure for words, and really dosen't have anything to do. Boo is the most likely on the list, and I could actually see him though.

Some Music from Fire Emblem will be Fire Emblem Theme, The Strong, and Ascent.

Well...It's possible.

Gandorf will be returning in his Twilight Princess form, and Fight with a sword, but move very slowly.

This has got to be the most overdone prediction out there. Personally after Ike, I don't think G-dorf is going to use a sword at all. At least for his melee attacks. Maybe a special. Still, everyone and there grandma expect this guy's information to come true.

Green Hill Zone, and Good Egg Galaxy are levels in SSBB.

Don't know the Sonic franchise well enough to comment on its stage. If we are to go by what this guy has said though, we've got 5 Mario stages already with this, so this is doubtful. It's also a bit too recent if you ask me. Importing Roselina's model is one thing, but this is another. In anycase, while the Mario franchise will indeed have the most stages, I still don't think it will be these ones. (We need Mushroom Kingdom III!)

An item called Rare Candy will temporarily make you stronger.

Well, I don't think there are any stat boosting items out there, and I know there are things that make your size bigger, so this thing...just doesn't seem likely if you ask me.

Roy, and Marth are being taken out and being replaced by characters from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.

I actually think it's quite possible. While Marth is the face of FE, I've had this gut feeling that he could get cut...then again, Ike apperently plays nothing like him, so this here is probably false.

Well he seemed to at least know about Pokemon, so he probably asked for a lot of Pokemon info, like Serebii. Not that I believe him(I don't), but if he IS telling the truth that would be my assumption.


As for the people doubting Serebii, you clearly aren't Pokemon fans. If you were, you'd know that he's probably THE most reliable source of Pokemon info out there. I've been following his website since before Ruby and Sapphire. He was almost always the first to reveal new info on those games, and same with Diamond/Pearl. Not once did he ever reveal false info without clearly stating it was a rumor beforehand. There's simply no reason for someone who has a reputation for being extremely reliable for 5+ years to lie about a game he doesn't even follow 100%(if there weren't Pokemon in the game, he might not even care much at all). You can trust Serebii over pretty much anyone out there.
