Ridley is by no means a shoo-in. While lots of people want him in, it all depends on Sakurai's devotion to the fans. Programming him would be a lot of work. It would pay off, but maybe he just doesn't have it in him.

He should, though. For Ridley fans. And for the Anti-Ridleys so the Ridley fans can **** on them for believing he couldn't get in.

Yeah. Zelda wasn't even shown as a playable character in the first trailer at E3. But still, they had Newcomer above her name in the trailer, so I count her. Granted, she's not a real newcomer, but she is one in Sakurai's eyes. Even in the Event Matches she has Samus and ZSS separate from each other for the all-star matches.

Do you at least understand what I was trying to say? Because I'm not good with getting points across.

I get the point, but that doesn't make Noah's arguments anymore stronger.

Because.......................why??? Pichu is a clone of Pikachu. Are you implying that I think ZSS is more ideal because she's the same person and also Pichu is not the same person???.......................I need some aspirin.

Because as you said, it's comparing to who got in and who didn't, and one was already in with the other having little to no chance of doing so. Not to mention Pichu is part of the Pikachu family, another pokemon already in that's popular, so it's still the ideal choice. If you don't like the logic, then I'd re-evaluate your own statements.

Yes, but the main problem with him is that it would be time-consuming and cost development time to program him. He is an all-star and he deserves the right to be in the game for once as a character, but it depends on whether or not Sakurai can program him. That's all that hangs on the hinges.

Depends on the franchise...Mario...obviously the villain, Zelda...some would say the damsel as the villain not only changes around, but the games are named "The Legend of ZELDA".

Zero Suit Samus and Samus are the same person. LITERALLY the same person. It's just a change in moveset for a transformation. It's the same thing as saying Zelda is Sheik. Sheik is Zelda. Same ****ing thing.

Dark Samus is an entity created by Phazon, which copies the abilities of organisms it comes across. Samus does not have those abilities. Dark Samus is nothing like Samus aside from the name.

Samus and Zero Suit Samus are the same character in different attire.

Dark Samus and Samus are totally different characters.

Dark Samus and Samus are completely different people. Samus is the same person with or without her suit, same personality. The abilities are different, but it's still the same character otherwise.

There seems to be a lot of people thinking that Charizard is going to come back while Squirtle and Ivysaur will be cut. I hope that doesn't happen, though I do see it as possible. Squirtle and Ivysaur had among the most inventive movesets in Brawl (particularly Ivysaur).

As I said, regardless of who we get on Friday, its going to be a huge sigh of relief from one fanbase.

But yes, not only has Ridley never been programmed to be a playable character that had to be balanced and tested, which would be pretty difficult, but Sakurai is hurting. He may not be able to spend that much extra time on one character because of his disability.

from what I hear the Japanese don't like the Prime series and the creator of Metroid even announced they aren't canon anymore (because it wouldn't fit in with Other M)

So now you're changing what you said.

No. They are not "similar" in playstyle. But in game, Zero Suit Samus is the same as Samus, and Zelda is the same as Sheik. It really isn't a difficult concept.

Characters can share qualities. But that doesn't mean they're the same character.

That last line makes no sense. You cannot be different from yourself. You can share similarities with a different person. But how cold you possibly be different from yourself?
