I am going to let everyone in on a secret I have been bottling up for a long time. Jigglypuff is my favorite. That is why I hope it is her.

Well, last night's conversations were a combination of painfully hard to read, odd canon talk, and a bunch of other random crap that isn't worth mentioning. Why am I never there for the good stuff...at least it saved me some brain-cells.

and we're still talking about the Pokemon newcomer? It's going to be Pokemon Trainer or Mewtwo, these two are the biggest characters in pokemon right now, Mewtwo being possibly the biggest pokemon right now with its consistent promotions and advertising, two mega forms, the new movie and even recent appearances in the anime. Pokemon Trainer has his starters available in X and Y, has a full set of special episodes dedicated to him in Pokemon Origins (Dat screaming Charmander), and all of his pokemon have connections to Mega Evolution. Jigglypuff and Lucario are hopeful inclusions, but far from your most likely candidates.

No, not at all, but I just don't see it happening over the likes of Pokemon Trainer and Mewtwo.

Edit: Especially considering the reveal needs to be a big one that can match the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog, which makes me think it's more Mewtwo than Pokemon Trainer.

Nothing is impossible. I do agree that he has a lot of unlikely characters on his roster. However, why put up a bland roster. Everyone already knows that everyone thinks Palutena, Mewtwo, Roy, Ridley, and K. Rool are some of the more likely (popular) characters. Seems a little biased.

It isn't like he has Goku, Master Chief, or Cloud on his roster.

Jigglypuff would be a nice reveal to hush up the people who still think Jigglypuff even has the slightest chance to get cut

but I don't think it'll be Jiggs this time, simply because there's a little too much competition from the likes of Lucario, Charizard/Pokemon Trainer, and Mewtwo

I don't think it will be long though before that Miiverse pic comes up though revealing Jigglypuff

Nothing is impossible. I do agree that he has a lot of unlikely characters on his roster. However, why put up a bland roster. Everyone already knows that everyone thinks Palutena, Mewtwo, Roy, Ridley, and K. Rool are some of the more likely (popular) characters. Seems a little biased.

Well I know. Its just unlikely to have that many reps. I have no problem with the choices, except for Tails, just the amount is what really gets me. That many Mario characters is a bit weird.

I like some of the choices, but they're unlikely because the size probably wont be too big.

Also she has a costume fetish. You can't deny that. Halloween = Costume = Jigglypuff. This is equivalence at its finest.

I sometimes think you people are too nice. It's a bad roster, really bad. Hell, half of those impossible characters make me feel as if I'm back on youtube. Hell, I just checked my inbox, and this is what I got as my latest message:

Okay, you said it. Yeah, that. Forget what I said. Some choices arent bad... but the amount of completely unlikely characters and sheer amount of characters overwhelm it for me.

And I do have little flairs in my roster. Who is an advocate for Ashley, Starfy, Chibi-Robo, Lip, etc.?

There is no reason to be mean. Roster speculation is extremely arbitrary. For instance, I believe that Toad is a fantastic choice, this also entails the notion that he is a likely choice. I know that this is not the popular perspective. Many believe Toad will not be making an appearance based on the premise that he may still be part of Peach's moveset. This is fallacious to me; however, it is an objective fact to many. So the art of roster selection is extremely subjective and refined to the empirical data that is personal to the specific debater. I actually thought some stupid choices would be considered for Smash myself. There was a point that I believed Samurai Goroh wasn't as likely as Black Shadow. Obviously after collectively evaluating a plethora of opinions. I have changed my rather conclusive reasoning. I now believe that Samurai Goroh is the most likely F-Zero candidate. Perhaps they are not seasoned speculators. That might have been his first stab at creating a cohesive roster that others might view as fun or quirky. It isn't really fair to call his roster a detriment to the community. It is not.

There are many characters that can hype up Smash, but one Smash character that can be used most effectively to hype up X and Y.
This character is Mewtwo.
He can not only thrill everyone with his inclusion in Smash, but also advertise X and Y better than any other Pokémon.
Mewtwo is the perfect way to go.

Mewtwo is the perfect way to go, but as the most requested character, period, he'll always be the perfect way to go for building hype. He could be held off until closer to the game's release for that reason.

He is alluding to the notion that they should save the interest closer to launch. That will get the sales. Sonic as already a Triple A reveal early on. There is no logical reason to reveal the most anticipated character of many right this moment.

That's exactly why he could be put off. He's the hype builder of the newcomers, if you want to get the crowd riled up, he's one of the characters you can put out. However, that also means that he's an excellent choice to have in your pocket, you can reveal him at any other time and he'll get the crowd going. Pokemon XY doesn't need that hype really, it's probably one of the most looked forward to entries in the series, so Mewtwo can be put off and they reveal any of the other Pokemon choices, which will still bring some hype with them.

Don't get me wrong I want Mewtwo to be revealed, but I could see tthem holding him off. But I can see Mewtwo as the reveal as well. Ugh, I'm fine with whoever.

As the U.S. and Japan fanbase's most wanted newcomer and one that represents multiple recurring demographics among Smash characters, K. Rool should not be considered an expendable or "interchangeable" character. Diddy is a lock, and Dixie depends on your roster size, given that she'd likely be a Wolf/Lucas/Toon Link-esque last minute inclusion.

4 DK reps is too much, room needs to be saved for Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Metroid and maybe Mario.
