I want to stick it to The Man who mandates that likely characters be added, so I'll vote Waddle Dee and Prince Fluff. YEAH!

Kirby is one of the most popular Nintendo series so why should it only get 3 characters
I want Waddle Dee in. And Kirby is one of my favorite franchises.
But I don't think it is Kirby's time to get another rep. He has his big 3, and that's all I believe Sakurai will give him until maybe Smash 5.

In all seriousness. Kirby really doesn't need anymore reps. King Dedede and Meta Knight are already to perfect representations of Kirby's series.

Well, I don't love it.

Too many impossible characters. Just too many. Cut some of the ones that will in no way ne in the game.
I agree... there are too many impossible characters. Personally, I think that moveset potential combined with relevancy (being a key character, having major playable roles or story roles, being promoted by Nintendo) and recency (being in games that came out after Brawl came out) and being first-party (the only exceptions are Pokemon and third-party) would help Nintendo characters get in Smash... as for third-party characters, they just need to be mascots of their respective companies. I think that these 16 characters (8 from veteran franchises, 8 from newcomer franchises) are very possible and very reasonable.

I guess these are reasonable. I do believe that Chrom, Dixie, Little Mac, Mewtwo, Mii, Pac-Man, Palutena, Ridley, Shulk, and Takamaru will make it in in addition to the ones announced already.

That being said, Toad, Toon Zelda, and Waddle Dee are more questionable choices that I wouldn't be surprised to see, but I don't expect to see.

I just feel people are underestimating Waddle Dee's chances Kirby is a huge series and Waddle Dee is requested more than a lot of other characters in Japan

I have to say, add "NOT TOO BIG" to the mix, and, along with moveset potential, "relevance" and "recency," you have the perfect brew of fan-manufactured criteria for newcomers. Wait, maybe rep Reps somewhere in there as well?

I'd replace Toon Zelda with someone else. Would rather not have another Zelda rep. The list could use one more surprise character, like R.O.B. and Mr. G&W.
Just my opinion though.

I would rather have Tingle or Impa myself.. but objectively, I think Toon Zelda is pretty likely since she was planned to be in Brawl and Sakurai has a tendency to revisit scrapped ideas (Villager in Brawl, Lucas in Melee, Bowser & King Dedede & Mewtwo in 64, etc.)

EDIT: I am hoping for one or two more surprise characters myself... I know my list of newcomers above don't really have surprises... but I am kinda hoping to be wrong... *crosses fingers for Tingle and Duck Hunt Dog*

But no one really demands for Toon Zelda, and she'll likely be a semi-clone over other characters that could be more unique than her.
I know, I know... but no one literally demanded for Wii Fit Trainer! :psycho:

I dread the day Toon Sheik is confirmed... if we get Toon Zelda, I hope she does not transform into Toon Sheik... that she either transforms into Tetra or does not transform at all.

Major part of the SSE, yeah, but his part in the SSE was pretty much just robot minions. An assist trophy.

His moveset is fine for the character he is, but my beef is more like.. Why does R.O.B. have his attacks? Why does mario throw a fireball? Fire flower. Why does game & watch have all his attacks? What is their source? My moveset issue with R.O.B. is that they just improvised his attacks, because unlike Link and his spin attack, or Yoshi and his egg-throwing, R.O.B. didn't have a canon movepool.
He was the friggin' Ancient Minister, not some random grunt. He had a strong presence in the Subspace Emissary.

The only moves R.O.B. has that make no sense are the ones relating to the Robo-Booster. The rest fit the character pretty well, considering what the original peripheral actually does.

Meh, so long as this Toon Sheik stays the heck away from Toon Zelda, I'm not going to lose any sleep over her. Especially if she has Tetra anyway. :/

Tetra would still probably have Toon Sheik's moves, but with Pirate gear

I really wouldn't mind Tetra, but I don't WANT her specifically.
Waddle Dee does have a better shot than people think, but Sakurai + Modesty = No New Kirby Rep.
