Probably the Pac-Man, Little Mac, Mii leak.Which leak are you talking about?
This has been my take on the Mii thing since it became obvious that Villager's moveset has things that seem more like Wii Sports than Animal Crossing (Bowling Ball, Boxing Glove)I just wish that you could customize Villager as your Mii. That would be enough for me.
That's the only problem I see with Miis. If it's an issue they come across, I can see them give us an assortment of 10-20 Miis that are basically reskins of each other that we can choose from.Miis would be SO great... can't wait to fight Hitler, Goku, and a penis.....
I already developed a moveset for Mii if you're interested in taking a look.I would love to see how Sakurai comes up with a crazy moveset for Mii.
See these random poses Mii make in this game? They could be Mii's normal moves (no bubbles) and aerial moves (with bubbles).
I would love to see a special move where Mii balalnces the towering ice cream cone!
Maybe Mii could ride a cow as it charges all over the stage.
Since we have a Pilotwings stage, why not have Mii use the jet pack from Pilotwings Resort as his/her recovery move?
It's an interesting idea, and to be honest would probably be something very enjoyable to not only play, but watch as well, but the likeliness of it happening isn't that high I'm afraid. Keep vouching though, with the Wii Fit Trainer, I've set my possibilities for Smash up and above what they were before E3.The real-life problem is non-existent. Only thing Sakurai has to do is ask the professor himself.
There are reasons the leak could be fake. The retcon that it was one NeoGAF user guessing is not one of them.Love how people are treating a guess from a random NeoGAF user as some sort of legitimate thing.
That'd be such a dumb addition. Really hope it doesn't happen.Diskun? Sheriff? Nah.... Duck Hunt Dog is where it's at!
No, they really don't come up that much. Maybe Hitler does a bit, but not really.Do these... Hitler, Penis Mii's... really come up that much? I've played online games plenty of times but I've hardly ever encountered them... at all. Is this a legit issue or are people just exaggerating? Or am I just lucky that I haven't encountered them yet...?
Wouldn't surprise me if there people using those kind of Miis online. I never came across one of those, though.Do these... Hitler, Penis Mii's... really come up that much? I've played online games plenty of times but I've hardly ever encountered them... at all. Is this a legit issue or are people just exaggerating? Look who stated it, it's easily exaggeration.Do these... Hitler, Penis Mii's... really come up that much? I've played online games plenty of times but I've hardly ever encountered them... at all. Is this a legit issue or are people just exaggerating? Or am I just lucky that I haven't encountered them yet...?
I'd take him over the other two. I'd be interested to see what the character could do.Diskun? Sheriff? Nah.... Duck Hunt Dog is where it's at!
Honestly, when it comes down to it, I think that Tingle is the most re-occuring character. He is hated in the West, but loved in the East. The game is being developed by Sora Ltd. so I am not entirely sure that the hate in the West will really translate into his decision. His spin off games and inclusion as an assist trophy also lead me to speculate that he is the most likely candidate. His status as an assist trophy shouldn't be so quick to dismiss. It is the next best thing to a playable character. This shows that he is indeed significant to Smash. Obviously this makes Toon Zelda fairly likely because she was actually planned. However, plans do not translate to what actually occurred. Tingle is the most important out of the non-Triforce characters. Impa is significant. Not enough to be playable. I only see her being a replacement for Sheik, even then, this is only if Zelda gets a complete SS redesign. So her chances are the lowest. I am hoping that the popularity of Zelda will be enough to warrant his inclusion. I don't think it is too likely, but there is a chance.I'd like to say something about the Zelda series and its representation in the game (Warning: it's long):
First of all, there is a supremely good chance we might just see the four slots we had last time: Link, Zelda/Sheik, Ganondorf, and Toon Link. So if I were you I would just prepare to see them in.
For newcomers, there are only three that come to mind: Tingle, Impa, and Toon Zelda (with an add on of Toon Sheik, an add on of Tetra, or Tetra herself). Impa solely depends on whether or not Sheik comes back, IMO. She could be in with Sheik, but it'd be pretty redundant, and she should only be in as her own character. For characters like Samus, Zelda, or the Pokemon Trainer, they all have parts of their movesets switching into different characters. But these characters make sense to be part of their moveset: Samus is still Samus, just without her armor, Sheik is Zelda's counterpart, so she's still Zelda, and the Pokemon Trainer (that is the name of the slot) has three popular Pokemon that make him the ultimate trainer. They are all one. If Impa was part of Zelda, it wouldn't feel very right. I mean, Zelda is NOT Impa, Impa is NOT Zelda. They are separate from each other. So, if Sheik gets in, I doubt Impa's appearance.
Tingle. He's certainly well-known, but he's hated. But he's not out of the picture. He's a prominent Zelda character, especially in WW, which just had an HD remake, and not only that but he's the one of the most recurring characters in the game, outside the main Triforce bearers. Not only that, but he had spinoffs of the games, into his own separate franchise, if you will. Granted, they weren't really all that important or popular, but he's certainly gone farther than any other side character. But what makes him so unlikely? Well, many people, like myself, think that the supreme Western hatred for him will keep him out of the game. And I can totally agree and understand that to a certain extent. Pichu was a hated character that was immediately taken out come the next game. But remember, this is Sakurai's game. He can simply add Tingle if he wants. So, I say Tingle is the 2nd most likely Zelda newcomer.
Finally, we have Toon Zelda. I think she has a good chance of getting in. She was planned for Brawl, even with only having one appearance as Toon Zelda in WW. Since then, she was in Spirit Tracks and WWHD now. So, she has a better chance than most people want to believe. She was pretty much in the same boat as Toon Link in Brawl, but out-prioritized by him and other characters. So she may end up in this game.
The question people have with her is who she will be with. Will she be by herself? Will she be with Tetra? Could there be a possibility that Tetra could be by herself? Is it in any way possible they're designing a Toon Sheik? Well, sure. All of these choices are reasonable for her. She is important enough to stay by herself, as is Tetra. Tetra was in WW, WWHD, and Phantom Hourglass, the same as Toon Zelda, but IMO had a bigger role in the WW games. So she could end up being alone. And there certainly is a possibility that there may be a Toon Sheik. If Sakurai wants to make a direct "Toonish" clone of Zelda, then Toon Sheik may be in their as well.
However, Toon Zelda and Tetra are both the same person, so it could make sense for them to be in together with a Down B or Final Smash transformation, like what Zelda and Samus have, respectively. Both Toon Zelda and Tetra were prominent in their roles in WW and both PH and ST. So I think they could end up merging the two, perhaps giving Toon Zelda a semi-clone moveset, and giving Tetra a moveset that, while similar to Sheik's, would be different and unique enough to make it feel different. I think this character, whatever the combination, is the most likely Zelda newcomer.
Whew. That took a while. If you want to see it, please do, I have some opinions I'd like to share with you all.
Well, there's always a chance Sakurai doesn't find them plausible, but I agree, they have very good chances to be in the game.I love how in denial everyone is about Miis and Pac-Man.
Chances are they're happening, so everyone should deal with it.
I don't know about Pac-Man. 4 Third-Parties is a lot and I don't think Snake will get cut. But, I guess that means I hate Pac-Man then doesn't it?I love how in denial everyone is about Miis and Pac-Man.
Chances are they're happening, so everyone should deal with it.
Evidence that they're happening, please?I love how in denial everyone is about Miis and Pac-Man.
Chances are they're happening, so everyone should deal with it.
Nah... I am not in denial about Mii and Pac-Man... I actually support both.I love how in denial everyone is about Miis and Pac-Man.
Chances are they're happening, so everyone should deal with it.
Those two are really bland... they are blander than Chrom... they even make Duck Hunt Dog look interesting in comparison. That's how bland they are! That'd be such a dumb addition. Really hope it doesn't happen.
I didn't say that they are, I said "chances are."Evidence that they're happening, please?
I wouldn't be surprised either if you have these kinds of Mii's running around online, but my question was if they show up that much to the point where this is a huge issue or something since I've seen many people bring this up whenever they talk about the Mii's. But I've yet to really encounter many of these kinds of Mii's online. Most of them look just fine and nothing out of the ordinary... For a Mii, that is... :/Wouldn't surprise me if there people using those kind of Miis online. I never came across one of those, though.
Yes it is, because it's a Nintendo fighting game for Nintendo Characters. If anything he's a 4th Party just like Danica Patrick was in Sega Racing 2. You might as well add Goku, I mean he was in a video game regardless that he originated from a crappy Anime. The real-life problem is non-existent.
Other way around. Those two are really bland... they are blander than Chrom... they even make Duck Hunt Dog look interesting in comparison. That's how bland they are!
He is using the leak as part of the evidence. Significance to Nintendo and sales of Mii related games as the second piece of evidence.Evidence that they're happening, please?
Well, yes. When you boil down to it, if we get a newcomer, it's either Toon Zelda or Tingle. I do think being an assist trophy helps, so Tingle may certainly get in over her. But Toon Zelda has been planned as a character, while Tingle hasn't.Honestly, when it comes down to it, I think that Tingle is the most re-occuring character. I kind of feel like Toon Zelda is the same as Plusle and Minun. Sora Ltd. might have thought that they were good ideas at the time. That might not still be the case. That is just my opinion.
It's a fictionalized version of him, as a floating head with Rayman polygonal hands. Unless he was the actual professor with his whole body, not much of an issue adding him.Yes it is, because it's a Nintendo fighting game for Nintendo Characters. I'm just posting this so that I can say I've had a roster with Diskun on it, but I still think Sheriff might be more likely and my next post will likely have him. Tell me what you think about this one though.

You know who is going to ***** about Diskun now........ Noah J. Linderer once again adding random retros because he feels like adding random retros..... what a cool hipster.
Just wondering...It's a fictionalized version of him, as a floating head. Unless he was the actual professor with his whole body, not much of an issue adding him.

+Most of these guys still have strong series going on.
+Not a single clone
Goku is fictional. Not much of an issue adding him I guess. Are we seriously gonna have a debate about this? It's a fictionalized version of him, as a floating head. Unless he was the actual professor with his whole body, not much of an issue adding him.
Still is not proof that they WILL be in the game, or is it?He is using the leak as part of the evidence. Significance to Nintendo and sales of Mii related games as the second piece of evidence.
If so, then why not Mike Tyson? It wasn't him in the game, just a fictionalized version of him. It's a fictionalized version of him, as a floating head. Unless he was the actual professor with his whole body, not much of an issue adding him.
I most certainly agree. That is what it comes down to. It is similar to how I feel about the Toad vs. Bowser Jr. debates. Both have pretty good chances if a Mario rep was plausible. It is all about personal preference.Well, yes. When you boil down to it, if we get a newcomer, it's either Toon Zelda or Tingle. I do think being an assist trophy helps, so Tingle may certainly get in over her. But Toon Zelda has been planned as a character, while Tingle hasn't.
I wouldn't say Toon Zelda is in the same boat as Plusle/Minum, though she's not far. In fact, I wouldn't be very surprised if we see any of the Forbidden Seven, including the ones not brought up often. But Toon Zelda has at least made appearances, and Sakurai does go back to his previous ideas. But Tingle is loved in the East, or at the very least tolerated in the East to make him a reasonable choice.
It comes down to personal preference, I believe. I'd be upset that Toon Zelda would not be in as the newcomer, you'd be upset if Tingle did not get in, but they both have equal chances, IMO. Agree or disagree?
Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!You know who is going to ***** about Diskun now........
