Considering I've seen footage of said game and seen what said character can do, I think Goku would make a fantastic WTF retro character.

I'm just posting this so that I can say I've had a roster with Diskun on it, but I still think Sheriff might be more likely and my next post will likely have him. Tell me what you think about this one though.

Noah, just a quick question: why are Samus and ZSS separate? I would just make them like Zelda/Sheik in Brawl, or are you advocating that they be COMPLETELY different? Because I don't find that very likely.

I'm not too fond of Diskun, I would replace him with say Starfy or Chibi-Robo. And, if you do merge Samus and ZSS together, I suggest adding Shulk. A fine roster, really.

That's all you ever do with retros, just add random and obscure characters nobody knows about, because it's so hipster thinking. Replace Dixie with King K Rool, add Ridley as a Metroid rep, and have either Pacman, lloyd, or even both to your roster, and replace Snake.

Do you seriusly believe Sakurai won't cut anybody? Seriously? Personally I think Wolf, Jigglypuff, and Lucas.

It doesn't matter what I say anyways because Noah never listens. Just watch. Just watch Noah put his fingers in his ears and go "LALALALA I'M NOT LISTENING" because he never listens to reason and logic....

What reason or logic was deductive when determining that Jigglypuff would be cut? I do mostly agree about the Diskun thing, but the blantant Noah hate is unnecessary. There are better ways of going about... whatever it is you are trying to get at.

Diskun can be a very interesting character who uses NES peripherals such as the NES Zapper, controller, and the Power Glove, and make copies of either himself or the opponent.
Sounds pretty interesting to me.

Zelda & Sheik can change at will. I think the ZSS concept was done horribly in Brawl and that Sakurai will fix this.

I don't know about Pac-Man. 4 Third-Parties is a lot and I don't think Snake will get cut. But, I guess that means I hate Pac-Man then doesn't it?
I actually do hate him, but the only reason I don't see him getting in is because of 4 Third-Parties being a lot.

Actually... he said that he doesn't add Pacman because 4 Third Parties are way too much.

People have a right to hate characters. Or at least simply not like them, which is what he was trying to say. He never even said he was a bad choice, I'm sure he thinks that if we were to get another third party, it would most certainly be him. He never denied that, he just doesn't think it's necessary to put him in this time around.

I was thinking more along the lines of using stuff from Famicom GAMES, and having a downard B that copies any attack used on him.

NES Peripharals should be for ROB, or better yet Items.

I know they have different moves, but they are still quite similar.

Yeah, if we had room for 4 Third-Parties it would totally be Pac-Man and I've said that before. He's the most likely Third-Party so I don't know why DD is kicking and screaming like a baby.

I know they have different moves, but they are still quite similar.

Pardon me for asking but...do you even Wolf? Wolf plays almost nothing like Fox, and his physical attacks, throws and etc. are all completely different. Even his specials, while still in the same vein as Fox and Falco, work very differently in terms of overall usage. The only thing they share that's basically the same is the final smash, which can easily be fixed.
