This is how I feel as well. He isn't my most wanted Newcomer or anything. He isn't a horrible choice though. I want Pac-Man over every other 3rd party suggestion I have read.

I don't see the hate behind Pac-Man. Sure, he'd be quite bland, but I think people would grow on him. Plus, if he did get in, I'm sure Sakurai would make his moveset as nostalgic as possible. He's not a bad choice, just not all that fan-hyping.

Regardless, I'd get hyped over any character. Even ones I abhor (looking at you, Krystal and Tingle!).

I'd be fine with him, but the Sonic fanbase raging would be much worse than the Smash fanbase raging over Pac-man getting in. (this would be the case REGARDLESS of which Sonic character would get in as a second Sonic rep)

The same goes to you, I put my points on the table and you dismiss them like nothing, I answer every question with a logical argument and still you didn´t prove me what more of those characters can bring to the game a part from their personas and moveset, when Snake brings much more.

Nightmare would be cool. That is just a pipe-dream though. When I look at it, Pac-Man is really one of the only realistic choices for a third-party Smash rep.

Next to the emoticon icon when posting is the color-change icon, cycle through the colors and you'll find what you want...or you could just change to an avatar of Scourge and save you the trouble.

So, Snake. He's cool. He's unique, fun to play as, and overall a good idea in a game. I'd be fine with him returning, but I'm indifferent. I will hate cuts regardless of who it is, but I wouldn't really care that much unless it's someone like the Ice Climbers, R.O.B., or the Earthbound reps.

Either way, I'm just going to say it.

We saw a very short clip of Pyrosphere. I'm not exactly sure why but I feel much more confident in saying that there is no stage hazard on that stage, whether it be Ridley, lava or anything really.

I have a feeling, I might be setting myself up for disappointment but I have a hunch that Sakurai basically chose this as a sort of introductory stage for Ridley to use as his signature stage in the same vein as Luigi's Mansion or whatever. But honestly I'd be disappointed if there were stage hazards like Ridley or lava. Not just because it screws over Ridley (that's a big reason though) but also because this is an awesome looking stage and I want it to be competitively viable because you know... Tourneys would be MUCH more interesting if there was a good variety of characters being used and a good variety of stages. I also want Garden of Hope and the pilotwings thing to be like that too but Garden of Hope's likely walk-off stage status might be problematic...

I have to give credit where credit is due. This is the first roster I have EVER seen that I actually want. I mean obviously it is not the most realistic of rosters. It looks fun though. I really don't say that to just anyone. Good job.
