MGS 5 is coming to Xbox also. Not to mention Brawl has references to Son of The Patriots, which means that his not appearing on Nintendo consoles problem is minute.
I really don't see him getting cut. He WAS the first 3rd party character in Smash Bros ever. If Sonic didn't get in, the only 3rd party would've been Snake anyway. Really, if we're getting mainstay 3rd parties, Snake needs to stay.
Plus, whenever I play as him with my friends and I get a Mega Mushroom, I like to shout, "HUGE BOSS!" and then kick them with Snake's meaty legs

Being subjective is a part of a person as you did with your statements. Not the answers that I was looking too but still good effort for your part, you need to read too the previews posts. You are telling me that, when you did bring more off topics to conversation and didn´t give a me direct and solid answer to many of my why´s. But still thanks for taking your time and having patience with me (english is not my first language). I hope in the near future we can discuss something else and have an agreement that satisfy both parts.

Nice roster! I'd love Geno, and I'm glad you included Palutena, Ridley, Dixie Kong and Little Mac as well. All characters I want. My only objections here are Mii, Sukapon and Porky.
I added Sukapon because there was a lot of demand back during the Brawl days, so I thought Sakurai may consider him this time (which also added Geno to the roster), Porky's added as another villain and another EarthBound rep (I love the series if it wasn't painstakingly obvious) and the Miis, due to that Little Mac/Pac-Man/Mii rumor, but Nikki from Swapnote was originally in, but I played it safe.

These all have about the same low chance of getting cut sans snake who has a slightly larger but still somewhat low chance of getting cut =P

I think Falco, Ike and Snake are pretty safe, but thats just me (I don´t want to enter in a another discussion that last more than five pages XD), so I will say personal opinion.
Edited: Oh and forgot about Jigglypuff (for me is safe too).

I think that they all might stay except for Snake, if things really get down to it. No way they'll remove Jigglypuff, Falco or Ice Climbers, and I think any Brawl starters are safe. Showing us Toon Link showed that even those regarded as the first cut can make it. But I feel all will make it, hopefully. And also, I think since they showed off Olimar, they'll be able to handle Red and Ice Climbers.

Dude, the only reason Snake is the most likely to get cut is due to how many factors go into his potential inclusion. You can say what you want but the only thing going for any one else is time constraints and meanwhile Snake is just a wild card affected by different factors.

Honestly, I would like to be surprised with the Pokemon franchise in Smash 4, so I'd be fine if any of the three Brawl vets go. I've been shocked by the Pokemon slot representatives every time in a Smash game. I hope to see the same thing. The five we all think will be in seems too vanilla, IMO.

Lucario's chance, eh. Not certain about him. With Mewtwo and the Jiggs, I'm not certain he'll stay. I doubt they would care much about balancing out the roster with Mario and Pokemon's rep count though, I don't see that as a real issue. (I once did though)
Falco and Wolf are both important to Starfox in their own regards, and I don't think moveset is an issue for Falco since we got a (mostly) unchanged Toon Link.
And I think Snake has the highest chance of being cut among all of them, but even then his chances are THAT high of being cut.

I'd take out Jigglypuff since she's probably sticking around, Falco, Lucas and Wolf are also very likely to not get cut. As for the others, both Lucario and Ike have good reasons for sticking around, though I have to say Snake's the only one that worries me due to his circumstances.

Yeah, I might have said that a bit too harshly. But my point stands. No one will ever get the cuts right, but we can at least know which characters could possibly be on the chopping block.
Better than talking about Pac-Man vs. Snake.

He is affected by a lot of different factors but none of them seems significant enough to justify to get the axe, when characters like Mega Man and Sonic are in. The reasons I look that 1st party characters are going to be cut are because of time constrains and thats by far their largest factor against them. But comparing Snake against them, it seems Sakurai will prioritize someone as a Snake as compared as someone as Wolf/Lucario/Lucas.

I think he'd be one of ones cut unfortunately. He has a higher chance than any other character. I do think a majority of the cast of Brawl will be retained.

I like Snake for various reasons, but he is the most likely character to not get in for known reasons. Honestly, Sakurai is a mischievous little man, he could cut whoever whenever. Snake has other problems going for him, having Metal Gear Solid connect to PlayStation and Xbox more than Nintendo. It wouldn't surprise me if Snake's a fighter in whatever PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale sequel they make. But not including Spyro or Crash in that killed me.
Back to Nintendo, Snake is possibly the likely cut. That's not saying much, though. I'm hoping for no cuts, and adding back Mewtwo and Roy, maybe Dr. Mario as an alternate.

Yes they are significant, being third party requires going through the company and getting the OK on what he wants to do, then conforming to their wants, and so on. That requires a lot more work to go through then whatever Lucas/Wolf/Ike/Lucario would require. Plus, he was a character that's more tied to Sony then Nintendo, which can work against him. If he makes it through the hoops, all the power to him, but lets not pretend that he's suddenly easier to get done then any other character from Brawl.

The only part where I was being subjective was me liking Earthbound. Everything else was objective. Like I've said again, I did answer your questions and gave you the reasons why. They're readily available. I have to bring outside sources because reasons don't come out of thin air. What I brought weren't off topic at all. They were the exact reasons you willingly ignored and kept going back to "Snake's moveset being better than Lucas/Wolf/Lucario's". I even told you that's not the only criteria that are followed and again, you dismissed that for some reason.
Whatever, I'm over it. If you think I have something against Snake, I don't.
For the record, we don't ever have to come to an agreement. I wasn't trying to make you agree with me at all.

Snake is up in the air, if they feel the need to license him again and all that good stuff he'd likely be prioritized but I'm still really doubting time constraints are actually going to be a huge problem for brawl vets this time around so that puts Snake as the one most likely to get an axe if time constraints aren't a huge problem. Let's get real here. There haven't been many newcomer reveals, it is unlikely we'll get a fraction of the amount of newcomers we got in brawl. We also don't lose resources to story mode so what's the big problem? Stages and... Newcomers? This version of smash has almost everything going for it in that regard.

I never say he was easier, but being a third party and getting a lot of things going for him from the previews installment, I think Sakurai will prioritize those third parties to be done faster than some of the 1st party characters because of all the legal issues they have. So it will be one more problem less and he can focus on other things.

That's not how that works. If the character's third party, you shouldn't develop the character before you get the OK because what do you do if you don't? You lose all that time and effort you put into making that character that could've been devoted to other resources. If he got the OK, then he can move up on the priority list, but until then the character would probably be at the bottom.
The fact of the matter is, Snake requires more effort to get then any other character in Brawl and that does work against it. It may not keep him out, but it doesn't mean he won't run the largest risk of getting cut due to those issues.
