On the otherhand, A Link Between Worlds has a confirmed release date for December in Japan. If Zelda is for December, that leaves November open, and the biggest release in November is Super Mario 3D World...

I hope Pac-Man would be playable in SSB4. I want to see a free-for-all match between gaming legends or a tag-team match between Mario & Sonic and Mega Man & Pac-Man.

I'd rather fight Mario with Megaman.

Crackpot theory not meant to be taken seriously; Hilda is the long lost fourth member of the Triforce Trio (or should I say...Tetraforce Quartet).
This is evident by her similarities to Zelda (perhaps a twin?), her inverted Triforce staff (the middle of the regular Triforce is an inverted triangle, and the middle of the inverted Triforce is a right-side up triangle), and because of her being in the Dark World.
(Either that or Hilda is to Zelda what Medusa is to Palutena)

Therefore, Hilda is the next important character for the Zelda series, and thus should be in Smash Bros.

I checked the screenshot before the reveal, so I was like, well, nothing new with that screenshot.

Disappointed that the Sonic Heroes theme was used instead of Live and Learn or the Sonic Colors theme.

But that won't stop my excitement for the reveal.

Neat crackpot theory. It's honestly just as valid as all the other Zelda theories out there, though, so by that standard your theory is actually pretty easy to take seriously.

Good afternoon all, hope you're all doing well.

Just got back from College and saw the Nintendo Direct, THE BLUE BLUR IS BACK BABY! I had the strong feeling Sonic would be back, but I had NO IDEA it would be this soon, so once again Sakurai surprises me. Also, it's nice to know that the thought of my Brawl main being cut is no longer possible. With a Pokemon newcomer coming in about a week, this is looking to be a great month.

Not really. I'm honestly betting on a Jigglypuff reveal more than anything. Mewtwo's one of the big "newcomers", and he's likely to be revealed around E3.

Mewtwo is not a newcomer, he is a returning veteran.

Another Nintendo Direct so soon? I don't think so, but that doesn't mean we won't see him announced. As I said, it'd make my year with Sonic already announced.
