Ridley, K. Rool, Little Mac, Isaac and Chrom. Mewtwo's genderless.

Although, leaving off Takamaru would be saddening.

Technically, then that means all values are subjective, and not objective. I'm only using the values of A+B+C+D=Priority because it is a concept much more easier to understand, using mathology. Besides, the values I am placing are based on FACTORS, not numbers or letters, but FACTORS that make up the equation as to how Sakurai prioritizes everything. If A = This and B = That, then we have ourselves a measurable equation that can help us with understanding prioritization.

values aren't subjective. That's a stupid thing to say and you should feel ashamed. and no the values you are placing are beliefs and in no way are measurable equations. besides past smash games would contradict this concept in many ways as it stands. Starfox shouldn't have been able to wrrant a new character in each game as they lacked the moveset potential and "deservingness."
but fine how about this. put your equation to use. take a character you want in smash and apply it.

I would say Flint from Mother 3, but the amount of manliness he emanates would immediately take up all five male slots.

Honestly, what if I went out there and accused YOU of being an alt account of somebody else? You would feel insulted and embarrassed, right? In fact, you would deny it, because it's wrong. I'm tired of people making false accusations against me, whether it's a misunderstanding of my personal religious or political beliefs or whether it's accusing me of personally insulting people or whether its everybody going around and saying I'm the worst thing to happen on this site. I'm not. I'm just sick and tired of all these attempts at assassinating my character, as a Smashboards user and as a human being.

Far enough back in the polls to be a legitimate 'wtf' character?

Nawwww, in all legitimacy, I know Ryota Hayami is but a pipe dream. I'm not one to use the "their ship has sailed" argument (since I personally believe that if a character has a chance, they won't just 'lose' their chance to be in the next Smash due to being 'irrelevant'), but Ryota is one of the select few characters who I can legitimately say have missed their chance, so to speak. Wave Race hasn't had a new game since the early Gamecube days and isn't looking to get one anytime soon.

A man can dream though... I'm still gonna throw a fit like a 12 year old if we don't get some Wave Race 64 MyMusic options.

I would actually like to apologize on behalf of some of the supporters of Chrom that are really only supporters in name only, ie, are only in it for the recentness. We're generally not bad people, it's just the vocal minority that makes us all look bad (well, that could be said for many things, but still).

Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who supports both Chrom and Roy.

Apology totally accepted. If DLC happens maybe we can all live together in peace and harmony with four Fire Emblem members. Maybe. That'd be a beautiful future.

Although clearly some people will be disappointed depending on what four made it.

Urgh...tough one...I'd go...Dixie, but this is due to her being in more games. Yes this is a terrible reason, and both girls deserve the placement.

When you're bashing people based on Religion and sexual preference in a forum designed around Smash Bros speculation, you're damn right we're going to tear you a new one. You're easily one of the worst things on this site. I don't even think Noah at his worst compared to you, and that's saying alot.

Sakurai has already said that he has no plans for DLC though that's still very open. It could mean he's just focusing on creating the best game he can on disc and there are genuinely no plans for DLC or others have interpreted it as that it means he's just not thinking about it until the games out.

No matter what the result is I will say this. Nintendo, if you want even more money from me put DLC in. Make the best game you can for now but I will buy almost anything you throw at me for these games.

i meant in terms of the Fire Emblem Universe, not the Smash Universe.

Chrom has recentness on his side in the FE universe, but in the grand scheme of things, Chrom is just as important to the series as Roy in the overall FE universe. The only two characters to have been lords in more than one game have been Marth and Ike. Leaf had prominent roles in two games, but was only a lord in one of them.

There is also the possibility that FE6 gets remade down the line (which one of the higher ups at IS has expressed interest in). I especially see it happening if Roy returns for Smash 4.

However, the things about relevancy is that there are already examples of characters being kept in Smash Bros. long after they were no longer "relevant" in their home franchises, namely Sheik and Ness.

As I said earlier this week, I am very anxious to see the veteran unveil for October. Either way, its going to cause a lot of hype because either Sonic or ANY Pokemon veteran (Mewtwo, Pokemon Trainer, Lucario, Jigglypuff), is going to make a lot of people happy to learn that they managed to return for Smash 4, and no longer have to face the axe.

In response to my own question, I'm going with Palutena as she would have quite a bit to offer, whereas Dixie probably doesn't have as much new stuff to add to the roster that Diddy Kong already provides.
