I don't think Eevee would evolve, simply because no other Pokémon has done so before in Smash Bros.Let's move on.....
Anyways, I feel there are WAY to many complications with Eevee being a playable character, evn if its just a theoretical question. Just imagine all the technical issues with its evolutions, which evolutions are you actually going to use, generation representation, transformation issues, balacning multiple characters among other characters on the roster (not to mention if PKMN TRAINER returns), and the fact that do you either A) force Eevee to evolve only once or B) discontinue the concept of Pokemon evolution just for Smash's sake?
These are concerns that MUST be addressed.

making Eevee evolve, while it could be a cool concept in theory, isn't necessary. Eevee by itself would be the better way to go.

Holy crap, I just got back from currently playing Super Metroid, and I must say...Ridley is TOUGH. No matter how many missiles I pump in the *******, he doesn't want to die! This might take a while. So, what'd I miss?

A) Here's what I have in mind, regarding "representing" all gens.
Sakurai would use ONE out of each gen, or just put the 1st gen ones only.
So it's either, for example:
Jolteon+Umbreon+Glaceon+Sylveon (give or take, alternate gen evolution)
or
Jolteon+Flareon+Vaporeon
B) I think Evolution is the only aspect of Pokemon that has yet been represented in Smash.
Unless PT's pokemon count.
I can't see them wasting so much time on ALL possible evolutions, though I admit would be extremely cool from their part.

As if Eevee is remotely bad as No Ike, No EarthBound, Geno, Dark Trio, Angry Bird, or Impa.
Care to back up one of your statements for the first time in your life? Have you seen any anime episodes or games that promote JigglyPuff as much as Eevee? Because a lot of people speculate the possibiliyt of JigglyPuff being dropped. Well?

I literally dug up my account which has been dormant for what I believe to be a year now simply to say this...
If the contest never began, how can there be a winner?
Say some football player approaches me and challenges me to a football match to see who is the better football player. I decline that challenge simply because I don't want to participate, meaning that there is no match, but the other dude decides that, despite the fact that there was no match and that no competition of football playing skill had occurred, he is the better player.
There was no debate. You can't claim that you are the winner of something that never happened.
I know that the discussion has passed, but this was bothering me so much that I had to throw in my 2 cents. This is all I am going to say.

Eevee was made to teach people about evolution and the elemental stones that cuase them haveing eevee as just eevee is like haveing Mewtwo with out pyschic attacks or Lucario with out Aura attacks it just isnt right.

tbf Lucario was horribly represented in Brawl as he played more like a psychic pokemon rather than a fighting steel type so that analogy doeasn't quite work with him. but i understand the apprehension on not allowing him to evolve. but to do so would either require a lot of extra developing or make him awkwardly evolve with every special move or something and thats not right either.

I'd be personally down with Evee as long as it doesn't shoulder out Lucario and Mewtwo. I could careless about Zoroark at this point. However, I don't see it happening really. On my paper it might sound good but it might be more trouble to accomplish than what's it worth.

On media influencing video games, the entire Bioshock series is influenced heavily by Ayn Rand's theories.
And yeah Buddhism isn't a religeon, it's a way of being. I follow it, but I'm not a Buddhist. It's pretty safe to say I have my own philosophy/way of being.

True, and that's the thing. To properly represent Eevee you have to have the Eeveelutions because those are a big part of the character and that is very difficult to implement without tons of resources being poured into it.

Eevee should be a pokeball that randomly evolves into one of her forms then does a unique attack depending on which form, there should be an opportunity to hit evee before she evolves making her disappear.
