.....First time I have ever been tempted to put someone on the ignore list. :chuckle:
Uhhhh, dude............it's a joke.

I think we shoudl just let Noah tell us the final roster, he seems to know. I should have known better than to be sucked into a discussion with him...regardless of the outcome. The outcome is he is right.
@The Creator

Where did this come from? This seems rather out of nowhere. I don't know why you think I'm predicting the best roster, and I never said mine is right and the best. Where is this coming from? First, we are talking about Square-Enix and now all of the sudden this? Are you seriously bringing up something COMPLETELY irrelevant and out of nowhere to start an argument for no reason? I'm going to have to put you on ignore for that.

Not to mention the Toon Link we have as of now isn't the same Toon Link as the one in the four swords/Minish Cap, it's a single character from a pair of games. The style is there, but having him using weapons from the other timelines is odd to say the least. The color scheme of the four is fine, but making Toon Link use those special items used by Classic Link is kind of strange.
That means you will have to pick ONE Classic Link game to use items from. And I doubt there is a rule saying you have to use items based on WHICH Link from what time you are.

I think the Black Mage is a fairly likely SE rep.

However, if I had my way, the lovely Terra Branford gets my vote. Magical sword master, female, first appeared on a Nintendo systems, popular character, relevant, and nolatalgic. She will always get my vote.

Oh? You're still here? I stopped taking you seriously after you tried and failed to call me a furry. Nice try though, that was hilarious. :rotfl:

PS: Every Link uses weapons attuned to their timeline. :p

I'd want Slime or Black Mage. I'm sure people know that by now though.
Is the topic Square Enix characters? Okay, simple, anyone but Sora, done. :p

Classic Link is the same character in LTTP, Links Awakening, Oracle of Ages, and Oracles of Seasons, as well as the same in ALBW. So all of those items are available. Toon Link is only the same character in WW and PH.

I'd love slime or Terra as well.

It's still kind of grating to argue while typing with tooth pain y'know, especially when the numbness starts to wear off. :c
From a third party perspective, I'd say AEM has more of a point. If you feel pain from typing, you shouldn't be on at all, because you'd still be doing that. I've had all my wisdom teeth removed before. Tooth pain does not affect brainpower at all. It just puts you in a worse mood.

But nevermind me, that topic looks about done.

The ignorance with this one is so thick, it's almost tangible. He won't acknowledge that his mannerisms are the reason people think he thinks he's omnipotent and a genius, yet he puts the people that say it to him on ignore. It's borderline narcissistic, in a way.

I had my wisdom teeth removed too y'know...two years back...it ruined my Christmas. :c

Cloud and Lightning included? Disgusting. Slime and Black Mage should totally be a team up. :awesome:
Why not Slime and Black Mage riding a Chocobo? :p

What's that picture look like to you? Yeah, nice try, but when you post something like this, you'd best be willing to be chewed out for it. Are you as forgetful as you are narcisstic?

What's wrong with ebing called a furry? D:
Absolutely nothing, but being a furry has one main meaning, which is a like of animalistic characters that are more animal than human in both appearance and personality, and like to do so with others like them in terms of cosplay and more. I like beastkins and Las Lindas characters...I'm not a furry. :glare:

But hey, if you like it, go right ahead, I'm not going to leave a reply involving an ignorant picture to what you like.

Race you to it?
Maybe later, kinda tired :tired:

The SE character that should be the first pick is obviously Neku.
Joshua would like to have a word for you. Prepare to get mind ****ed.
Choosing a character from one single DS-exclusive game over other characters who are just as popular and have appeared on more (Nintendo-exclusive) games?

TWEWY is pretty cool, and It'd be interesting to see what they could do with the characters in Smash, but even Sora has a higher chance then Neku or Josh, despite also being partially owned by Disney. (I don't hate Sora, btw. I'd love to see KH in Smash)

Nope, not in the slightest. If they have the personality of a human, they're not furries, which usually leads me to facepalm when they're called "Space furries". The point is that most people that throw out furry insults have no idea what the term even means.

They're just anthropomorphic, or anthro for short. Starfox characters, Sonic characters, those kinds of characters. It's the description of characters that look like animals but act like humans, and are more animal than human. Characters like my darling little Felicia are beastkins, humans with animalistic features but are still more human than animal in appearance and personality. Furries are what I listed before, completely different from each other but shoved into one category because people are ignorant.

That's all from me, I'm pooped. |3 G'night everyone.

Welp what do you know. I learned something new that wasn't related to Smash on a Smash form. xD

I'm pretty sure furries have personalities (well, depending on how one represents them). Furries are the hardest to get under definition because it varies but going by your interpretation what I'd say differentiates a furry from those characters is that furries are generally people that like anthropomorphic characters and the fan characters made by them (which can be made with differing personality traits, characteristics, etc.). Characters established in video games, cartoons and the like aren't furries per se because they aren't fan characters nor are fans of themselves of course, but are anthropomorphic characters nonetheless and furries can support those characters just as much, thus they do get attached to the fandom by fanbase.

And yes, there's a varying difference between characters even in the same medium, basically going from "Little Bit Beastly (human with animal traits)" to "Funny animal (animal with human traits)." Thank you TVtropes for that one...

Anyway, sorry about that, back on topic: I'd think Black Mage would be the best chance for a rep, maybe also the Chocobo or Mog due to their mascot and/or reoccurring appearances.

@Noah J. Linderer

1. I want to keep Matthew, but on my current one it is Adult Isaac. I will probably change it back in my next update.
2. Same thing with the Miis.

I think that's it... Well then, hope class was helpful today. :p

I think the definition of "furry" is pretty easy to pin down. It's simply put someone who finds anthropomorphic animal characters sexually attractive.

At least, that's how I define it. I guess it ranges as simple as "a fan of anthro" to "dresses up in an animal suit and bangs it out with other people with similar interests". I don't think I'd say that you need to be making fan characters or even deal with fanart at all to qualify for the term.

But, let's be honest, most of the time here you're just gonna hear it as an insult towards people who like anthro.

Anyway! Moving on from that whole discussion, ha.
I do think that a Square character would really represent a substantial part of Nintendo's history. There are no traditional JRPG characters in Smash yet, but they have tons of potential for a solid Smash character.
