I think Baby Waluigi would probably be the most insulting thing. He currently exists only to complete the set of other baby overalls plushies.

I think either Bowser Jr. or Toad would be good Mario newcomers.

What has DK Jr. Done?: Drove karts, hit tennis balls, climbed vines

What has Bowser Jr. Done?: Mastered art, kidnapped princess, turned into clones of others, and has been an all-star in tens of sports

Bowser Jr could throw Green Shells, use that Koopa Car and his skipy shell attack from NSMB. At least THAT would be somewhat unique.

These are pretty much the best that comes by for the Mario series. Would be great if we could get one of them (I'd also like Paper Mario, but he's sadly unlikely).

Also yes I realize I'm delayed on this, but I still want to leave a comment on it.

For many people Little Mac is pretty boring too (all he can do is punch), yet Little Mac and Isaac are by far the most wanted new series newcomers (ignoring Mega Man). I can't comment on Isaac as a character since I never played the GS games, however, I think a lot of his popularity derives from how many people enjoyed his series.
What is boring is a pretty subjective thing. The idea of a boxer like Little Mac, due to the limit in question, ironically is a distinctive characteristic. When you're constraint to a certain characteristic, it actually brings out the creativity on how you can get around the barrier. That to me is not boring, it can actually be a clever way to test your knowledge.

My main problem with Issac is that he's the typical "RPG hero" fluff, which is pretty boring. We've seen it before, and there really isn't anything in particular that will "wow" people. I mean, yes I suppose people can like Issac because of Golden Sun, but there really isn't anything worth bragging about. At best it's the ability to use earth based powers via Venus related stuff, but at the same time you can only do that for only so many moves before you are dragged down by the more generic stuff.

To me, something that is interesting is something that can bring a certain characteristic on the roster that has not been explored yet. Which is one of the reasons I support some characters.

Ah, so instead of talking about the blue space strumpet, we're talking about the overrated Zatch Bell reject, I see.

While I admit his abnormal level of popularity during Brawl's development can possibly influence Sakurai to include him this time around (as he never had a "fair" chance for Brawl due to the requests breaking out more than a year after the roster finalization), I'd rather not see him due to being the ultimate bandwagon candidate.

Now, if he were to appear in more Mario games, or even have Smash be used as a stepping stool for more appearances in Mario games, I would be fine with seeing him.
He seems cool enough; just highly overrated as a one-time Mario character Nintendo doesn't even own.

I thought Takamaru was the ultimate band wagon character

You know, since he's a barely supported, one time, Japanese only character that still some how get's a lot of overseas support, making into the top 25 and predicted rosters

Guys, I think Sakurai might not add mewtwo and have his slot taken with this:

:troll:

10 points if you know where this is from, and know its name.

Dunno why it took me so long, but I just realized that Mewtwo's slot is POSSIBLY going to be one of those you have to remember to add a +1 to when looking at a roster. Or +2 if you're Pokemon Trainer.

Guys, sorry to bring this up, but I found some evidence in support of pra_mai being Plusle and Minun. It appears that the official romanization to Plusle's Japanese name "Purasuru" is "Prasle".

(Read the first line.)
However, it would be inconsistent. Take a look at the official romanizations and romaji:

Official - Romaji:
Prasle - Purasuru
Minun - Mainan

Why would they use the official romanization for Plusle, but romaji for Minun? Inconsistent, but I don't deny it could be a possibility.

I guess it's something we will never know for sure.

We already knew this.

It more likely has something to do with the random box as
1)The characters have their names spelled for the files
2)Other tag teams have file for both the characters. Popo and Nana both have a file. Dixie has a file for being with Diddy. This one has just one file.
It is likely data for the random box as the "Did You Know" mentioned.

Except for Ganon :troll:

And Link...
That's only true in tourney land. So this will only apply to you if you play 1v1 no items, 5 selects stages and your life is going nowhere fast.

For the rest of us, the roster is pretty balanced. Online results have shown that all the characters perform about the same. From experience, Mario can be a really good character if you know what your doing.

If you really know what you're doing, basically every character can work fine.
I think the worst Brawl chars are Link and Ganondorf. They're too ****ing slow.

Link just gets gimped really easily. Just send him far enough off stage and he's dead. I prefer Melee Link over Brawl Link, but I love Link In Brawl as far as his advance techniques like bomb sliding and dacus. Plus his zair is more useful when attacking your opponent in Brawl compared to Melee(I think). Though wish he can attack his bombs again like in the first two smash games.

Link is really good in a big brawl. He has a lot of moves that hit pretty hard for their speed. His projectiles are also nice, so he's got a good deal of versatility. You can survive long enough to get some kills. If you're worried about dieing, just set the C stick to special and, when you get sent flying, pull a bomb out.

I mostly use Ganondorf in 4-player FFAs and kick major ass with him... In 1v1, I prefer Olimar. And that is when I'm not playing on random.

I personally like playing as Link and Ganondorf more than Zelda. I'm even using both as secondaries in Brawl, less so than Donkey Kong though- but still: I like using them. Sheik and Ike to (DK, Ike and Sheik are all tiered amongst the same rank though).

In 4-player FFA I really do prefer the big powerhouses, DK, Ike and Ganondorf. DK best, cause he can gimp the sexiest. But breaking havoc with DK, Ganondorf or Ike is really the best. Especially online sometimes for fun. It's so cool getting like, 10+ KOs while not being touched even once yourself. Dat feeling of invinsibility is awesome.

Pokémon Live's MechaMew2.

Dude... Gash Bell was a good manga. That's hardly an insult.
I wasn't saying it wasn't. Just saying that Geno looks like a poorly designed Mamodo. (And so it's clear, I'm not saying the Mamodos themselves are poorly designed.)
