My thoughts on DLC characters is that it would be great to see them. Right now, however, knowing that Sakurai wants to complete his game and move on to another project, the only characters I can see happening in the near future are unfinished characters he intends to add.Knowing that, Star, why've you been so confident on DLC? You do mean DLC characters, right?
Maybe I put the idea out of my head too early, but I figured for a game like Smash, it would be really hard to get a team together to create DLC characters, and that it would be more worthwhile to just put in everything they could from the beginning. Considering all the resources that must be pulled together, y'know? And for characters that would have to be more on the obscure side, too. Unless Sakurai purposely left out some big names just so they could get peoples interest in buying some no names.
But I suppose... I accept that DLC for Smash would definitely be something everyone would want.
Because I know Sakurai will not be able to complete everything he wishes in time before release. It always happens, but with DLC, instead of leaving that content on the cutting room floor, he can continue on and publish said content in a way he was able to before. I'm not talking about creating content for the sake of, since I do not believe that fits into Sakurai's design philosophy.Knowing that, Star, why've you been so confident on DLC? That'd be a bad philosophy (bolded). It's unrealistic to expect a subpar game to have its turd polish into a solid game. Sakurai is going to make the best game he can make and then add whatever got cut.Doesn't Sakurai always say "a good game is good eventually, a bad game is bad forever"?
If so then DLC kinda solves that because it can be bad at first then get better.
Nope. But he's in SSB Crusade.what about weegee?
The fact it's in yet another craptastic Pokemon movie for starters.Mewtwo and a Shiny Genesect, what's not to like?
sorry whats that?Nope. But he's in SSB Crusade.
It's a 2D fan smash game like Super Smash Flash 2 but better(IMO). Weegee is one of several alt characters from the game if you choose Luigi. Their newest engine 0.9 is legit when I tried it at Apex 2013 in January. Plays like a normal smash game by it's 2D.s
sorry whats that?
Genesect kind of looks like a sports car when it's in High-Speed Flight FormGenesect being red makes him look he has a sports car for a head. An ugly one.
A lance user would stand out among the cast. There should be a lance user, imo.I would say just let him use Falchion and not even bother with the use of lances.
True. But why have him use lances if his main weapon is the Falchion? Maybe as a special or something, but as his main weapon? I don't think that would be the way to go.A lance user would stand out among the cast. There should be a lance user, imo.
k thanks broIt's a 2D fan smash game like Super Smash Flash 2 but better(IMO). Weegee is one of several alt characters from the game if you choose Luigi. Their newest engine 0.9 is legit when I tried it at Apex 2013 in January. Plays like a normal smash game by it's 2D.
I'll just update my post with gameplay from 0.9 later so you see how Weegee's like. I didn't get a chance to play him because I was figuring out what I can and can't do with Link in Crusade that I can in Brawl as far as advance techniques. Mach Rider, DK and Waluigi are fun too.
