It's not working.
Source? I've heard nothing of it.A new Starfox game is being currently developed. There will be a SFWii U, I'm sure of it.
There isn't a Star Fox game being made.Source? I've heard nothing of it.
You got him good. *BROFIST*Smooth Criminal: It's a pic, so ya gotta use Drag'n'Drop or image-pasting.
Sorry, but until you can provide me a direct quote from someone at Nintendo that says there is definitely going to be a new Starfox game, then you shouldn't go around saying there is, no matter how much incidental evidence there is to suggest that there might be.It's the series Miyamoto most wants to see have a new game made, and at one point Nintendo was throwing around a Metroid x StarFox game, but they scrapped the cross idea and moved on to something else. That's enough reason for me.
If there was going to be a reboot, it would have happened already. IMO. But, if there was, I don't know? I don't see a reason for a reboot. SFAdventures will never happen again (Even though the game wasn't even that bad), StarFox Assualt was actually a good game, just a little short, and StarFoxCommand isn't canon. It makes the most sense that they would simply continue the story from Assualt.Shortie, what if the next Star Fox game is a reboot (that ignores all the games after 64)? A lot of fans seem to want that (along with the gaming media).

Is confirmed then that Miya is working on a new IP? You're throwing a lot of news here but I didn't hear of anyone.
Suggests =/= confirms. That does suggest, now pull that stick out of your *** and chill out.
I think there's going to be a new Star Fox game sooner or later too, and while it's true that signs seem to point towards such, it's still just speculation at the end of the day. It has weight to it and isn't exactly farfetched, but it's only speculation so far. shinpichu's point was simply that you're projecting your opinion to be factual, which it obviously isn't considering nothing has been confirmed by Nintendo. No need for such harsh words lolThat does suggest, now pull that stick out of your *** and chill out.
This is an OLD post, but I think this is kind of importaint.Patterns are made to be broken, especially from an installment that is going to change directions. For those that people that believe in the heart of the patterns, prepared to get wrecked.
Most people hate me because what I say they don't like to hear. I have to be wrong on everything it seems. Thanks for pointing this out. It's good to know I have a friend like you Oasis.13 has been more or less an agreed upon increase (though I say 14), and then SmashChu says it and it's laughable?
That pretty much came to my mind as well"Hands off my pizza."
Maybe we should just stop caring about this. The idea that there are no patterns is just as ludicrous as thinking they are everyone. It's like everything. You have to have balance. There are patterns in each game. It's silly to think there aren't any at all. If there was no consistency, then most of what we've been doing, trying to understand the roster selection, is pointless.
Nah, we hate you because you're an idiotic prick. Most people hate me because what I say they don't like to hear. I have to be wrong on everything it seems.
At this point, what ever argument is spewed out is the equivalent of trying to teach a snake how to tap dance.Such compelling evidence I see backing up the arguments here.
They can make bad games, they just haven't yet. Maybe they never will, but it's entirely possible that at some point or another they'll turn out a clunker.Though considering how amazing Metal Gear Rising is, I don't think PG is capable of making a bad game.
I think the first chick is Lyn. Row 2, Column 4 looks like KOS-MOS to me. One of the guys in the fourth row down looks like Vaati(and the guy with him looks like he might be someone from TP or SS, not sure who though), and the thing in the row below him looks an awful lot like Mewtwo(or Giegue).Anyway, on that challenge. I took it up myself and drew up some concepts, most of them are for a little pet project I've had floating around in my head for quite some time. So lets play a little game to kill some time. Some of these characters are influenced by Smash characters and potential Smash newcomers. Points for anyone who can guess the influences in some of these.
All of these are WIP mind you, so I still need to go back an rework a lot of them so that they don't look like blatant rip-offs of other characters from other things. Atm they are simply concepts for ideas and such. Though some designs I'm quite pleased with as some are quite original.
As for the results, in the short time I've worked on these I've got 26 characters, but I doubt most would make a cut, and I've only got moveset ideas planned for a handful, let alone strategies.
Coming up with character designs for a story along with special moves and such is rather easy, like if this were to be a manga of some sort, it'd be no problem; but just the thought of having to come up with complete movesets for each and every character is exhausting in just thought. I think that alone expresses what I said before.
Whoa, those are some awesome drawings. Nine-Tailed Fox girl reminds me of Ahri from LoL, nice. It's a shame I don't know anything about video games or how to draw. But coming up with character designs/concepts sounds like fun. Who knows, maybe I'll try to come up with some original characters someday (though they're probably gonna look awful).Anyway, on that challenge.
