Technically speaking, Roy only being popular because of Melee does hold water considering that Roy literally debuted in that game and was one of two Fire Emblem characters (the other being Marth) to be first shown to western audiences. When people say "Roy is only popular because of Melee", there is truth to it.

Waluigi just has more votes than Toad, by like, thirty votes. (He's almost at 100 votes) Our community is suprisingly not as Pro-Waluigi as most. And we're more pro Dixie/Goroh than most. shame

I'm not sure if you want to mix eastern and western popularity Shortie, but it'd be great if we could get this poll to a Japanese Smash community somehow (especially since there are very few unofficial Japanese fan polls out there). I'm not sure if you can edit it to include the Japanese character names at this point or anything, but if possible the worldwide results would be pretty interesting...

If not, I suppose you could always make the post-reveal poll in English and Japanese, if you wanted to.

@N3ON, I've never thought of trying to get the Japanese fanbase's opinion, but that would be cool. I actually have all the japanese names for most characters I've always planned on doing a post reveal poll. Since I started doing them, I tend to make new polls post E3 anyhow. So yeah, that's a great idea you guys. I'll plan on making either a poll with Japanese and English choices, or two seperate. I'll figure it out later though.

For your information, the Roster Maker also works on Mac systems. Try copying what is inside the "dist" folder to the upper folder, where the ".exe" file is. Then double click on the ".jar" file. If that doesn't work, try following the instructions in the "Readme" file.

Yeah, it's Duck Hunt Dog... really, I entered "hunting dog" on Google Translate and it came out as "猟犬" which appropriately translates into "hound". "Duck Hunt" in Japanese is "ダックハント".

Latin America, but I think the names of the characters are probably the same in all European Languages.

There's always Google if you're having trouble finding names in some languages. An example: Pokémon have Japanese, English, French and German names, with the remainder of the world using the English names.

You know, that would have been an interesting addition for SonySmash. Well, Hatsune Miku at least. It would have made the game desirable in Japan at least. In fact, now that I think about it, PSABR needed more Weeaboo-pandering characters, and less Western bores. I mean, I mostly play Japanese games on my PS3 anyway. Big Daddy? Really? 2 Coles?

I swear Sony'll never live that down.

Yes, /v/ is rather infamous for their raids. But that's not always a bad thing, since watching fanboys weep is always fun. My favorite of the raids is the one involving /v/ voting the hell out of Bub and Bob from Bubble Bobble and managing to beat Master Chief. Good god the **** storm that came out that was hilarious.

Only problem is that Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer product, not a videogame. I'd LOVE for Miku to be in Smash Bros.
