You know, there is times I'm grateful to not be like Diddy Kong. I mean, seeing me talk about how much Takamaru is the best thing since the invention of the ice cube would get really irritating very quickly. Especially considering my fetish for culture and history causing me to spew out random facts about samurai that nobody would care about.

Two things:

1. The Pokemon roster should not be overran by Gen 1, regardless of who they add. They have Gen 2 remakes, Gen 5, and soon to be Gen 6 to help get something from.

2. Impa would be a good replacement for Sheik for the Skyward Sword Zelda (main costume/s). An alternate Ocarina of Time 3D costume could make it Sheik. A move-set could easily work for both.

Seeing how shiek and Zelda were the same person in that game I beg to differ
Especially when that game has received 2 remakes, one which came out a year before ss, so shiek is still pretty relevant

His fav is Blastoise, mine is Feraligatr. If we fight water with water to counter the fire, then we use our favs to fight.

SS is still more recent, and is an actual new game. Also, Miyamoto really liked Skyward Sword, and he always gets what he wants. I also doubt Ocarina of Time will be the main game for Zelda characters again. Except for in the 3DS version. And I wouldn´t mind if Sheik was still playable, and part of Zelda´s moveset in the 3DS version. Alternative costumes would be best though. And probably, I COULD accept a PROPER Impa alternative costume for Sheik. After some long period of butthurt though.

Cause those fans are the most critical, and have the most characters running around where people just can´t agree on who should make it in and who not.

Well, I still think it´s more likely that they´ll base the Zelda franchise on Skyward Sword, than Ocarina of Time yet again in Smash. But forgive the **** coming out of my mouth, there´s too much going on in my system right now.

Smash Bros would benefit from having some exclusive characters each, where you could eventually transfer them later on.

Especially for those 3 rosters, which are the ones that always cause conflict (and we all get into it).

Honestly, anyone who goes on 4chan and sees this and does not stick up for me is just as bad as the **** talking that is done behind my back. I don't go on 4chan, so I don't know what is being said about me.

I brought it up because every time I see a thread on 4Chan about Smash, somehow there is ONE guy who complains about Chrono/Snakey. Of course, he doesn't get a lot of replies and I wouldn't doubt he's same***ing himself. Brought it up here where there is a name attached to something. Also, what Golden said.

People talk **** about me all the time throughout the seven seas various forums. Even behind my back. With hardly any people sticking up for me.

Your a good guy Chrono, but you can't expect people to white knight you. It's the internet. Who cares. It's not like they even know the real you. Just roll with it. Also, I think your cool too Golden.

NOW something more important. I got to thinking. In Brawl, it was the battle of the best. Every character was the cream of the crop. This time around, it's the battle of everyone else. In Brawl, you could tell who most of the winners were because who was the most popular/important. Now, it's anyone's game. There are a lot of characters who could fit the bill, but it could be anyone. There are fewer clear winners this time. What this means is that it wont be as easy to pick the characters. There will be a lot more wild cards. Of course, there will be some obvious choices, but after that, it's anyone's game. So it's going to be hard to nail down the characters this time.

Just for kicks, I think there will be 13 characters. It would be anywhere between 12 and 16. This is what I'm looking at in terms of newcomers, but it seems to change a lot for me.

Looks pretty accurate to me. The positive thing is four of those characters have the ability to bring very unique gameplay opportunities that would set them apart from the rest of the cast. Hence why I believe they will be playable as, at this point, that will probably be more of a factor for Sakurai this time around than popularity alone.

Between 12 and 16 sounds pretty possible (maybe it even could potentially go up to 18 as well). That is a very nice list, although I don't see Waluigi (but the rest was good).

My list within the limits of 16 though would be:

I think SmashChu got about half of those characters right. Other half however is totally like your opinion man.

Probably due to the fact that he is an Assist Trophy, which is better than any other Mario character.
