This tourney happens to be right after I become unbusy with school and other stuff this semester, therefore I will be entering. Brian/Gio/Julian, I want some game room training these next couple Fridays.

I should note that my preferred training regimen will not include ThuGz.

I only train against people who I haven't beaten yet in tourney. :yeahboi:

BTW, for anybody interested, I'm considering doing a commentary comity for people who want them in their replays. Just PM me if you're interested. Probably 3 to 5 people is a good number.

(This post is mainly for Tech, but if you guys want to give input, please do!)

So I did a little stream testing today (Text placement, video and audio quality, how the layout looks, etc.) and I think it looks fairly legit. It's no Apex (no offense Ori<3) but it certainly does a nice job of what needs to be done. Here is the link:
http://www.twitch.tv/mracidapple/b/306359356

I know a few things that I need to work on before PS2 comes up (and we actually do stream this):
- Fix the audio so that game's is lower and the actual commentary will be higher.
- Since I don't know how good AA's connection will be, it's hard to adjust the settings so the stream will be watchable (framerate, quality, etc.) So hopefully I can get there early-ish and do like 10/15 of testing of all that stuff.

So beware if I do stream, quality will vary.

Also, sorry for the bad Melee skills ;0;

WuVs, that actually looks REALLY good. For smash standards it is way up there. Also, I have a good quality external cam if you need to use another. We used it for The Big House stream, and it seemed to work well.

I would love an external camera. I was gonna get one from Ham, but I watched that stream and it looked fairly nice, so that would be a nice Player Cam (and my internal webcam is HD so it should be relatively decent quality for the commentator cam.)

So Roller, I'm guessing that AA's internet should be able to handle this stream very nicely? Since this is going to have nice attendance, it needs to be streamed and seen.

@Tech (too lazy to quote) Thank You! It's actually fairly fun to do all of this, I'm just hoping everything goes well at the tourney.

Ori, you should really copyright the "Ori_" phrase. It's going to be the next Apple-type brand.
Also, I'm ok with being a streaming machine (as long as my computer doesn't crap out on me =D) Last time I streamed (BAMF1) I just talked to Mr. R most of the time lol.

Yeah, U of M has amazing internet. The only possible problem I could see happening is if the bandwidth is strained between us and a lot of other people in the building. However, this being on a Saturday, and my internet working fine in the same building (EDIT: same ROOM) this morning with thousands of people in Mason/Angell Hall... Would lead me to believe that should not be a problem.

I don't own a melee disk, so you will need to supply a copy if you wish to play.

Also, Ori_fest the night before. Dakota we should stream the fest to do more testing.
Also Also, I need to know who I'm housing Friday/Saturday
Also Also Also, Rides will be need for myself, Dakota, and Ham.
Also Also Also Also, Ham will be taking orders for custom controller paint jobs at this. He will be bringing around a sample controller.

Well my real concern wasn't that is it fast enough, but if it would be fast enough with everyone else (I can only assume that there would be a considerable amount of others using it was well) to support a decent/good stream.
Hopefully I worded that properly.

I should be able to make this, especially if I keep neglecting loved ones.

Also, I'll make sure to be on time this time.

Maybe.
