I don't think Armada retiring has anything to do with him not being challenged. It's just that he is losing motivation for one reason or another. He's been playing the game for 7 years and has accomplished all his goals, it's normal to not feel the same drive to practice and compete.

I disagree. I think if Armada wasn't incontestably the best player in the world, his fire would be alive. It doesn't matter if he is being challenged, he hasn't actually lost a tournament within the time span of the last 3 majors. He has already consistently defeated all of his stronger rivals, he has nothing left to accomplish.

Armada sounds like he needs nuclear energy more than fire at this point. I don't think trash talk is even going to affect him since that's like a little kid saying he's going to beat you up and you're a professional MMA fighter. It's cute, but it's worth laughing off.

He needs a real contender who makes him look like he has to go back to the drawing board for smash.

If a professional MMA fighter got beat 2 out of 5 times by a trash-talking little kid...

God the moment Mango started posting in their thread things got so much more amusing and it became less sullen. People seemed to be able to handle Armada leaving better even (except Mango). Dem reverse mind games. Annndddd Mango needs to stop getting drunk/smashed so much near tournaments (except after winning). With Armada gone my two favorite top level melee smashers are M2K and Mango (and Hbox's Ness).

1) to be nice
2) to team with him at big events (did not happen yet but i would like it to soon)
3) A lot of people wanted him to go but he wasn't going to so I tried to "save" the tournament

i also paid larry/dehf's ticket (170) to apex 2010

go figure i would lose to larry in brawl singles and mango in melee teams after paying both their 1 way tickets there <.<

Have you ever teamed with Mango seriously? I'm just wondering because I feel like your two play styles would do one of two things. Either clash and end horribly or mix perfectly and give birth to the best team melee has ever seen, but maybe that's just me.

Um... Troll post? If Hbox and M2K teamed that would make sense though. I'd think Mango as fox or falco and M2K as fox/shiek/marth all depending upon who they play against. But I think Mango as Fox and M2K as Marth or Mango as Falco and M2K as Shiek might end best. Of course this is just my opinion.
