I would have Subspace be bit the same except having the environments/levels be based off Nintendo games.

As well having more enemies from Nintendo games appearing alongside the original Subspace Army.

This is the Wii, they don't do DLC. Potentially, they could be the first newcomers in Smash 4, but do keep in mind that the 3DS and Wii U games have to have the same rosters.
I thought that Wolf and Toon Link were DLC in Brawl but I guess I was wrong

I figured that I should clarify a couple of things:

Im not really that much of a fan for adding even more newcomers but if we have to, can you make them DLC?
I never said that the expanded Brawl roster would be all newcomers: there would be another job to add a couple more veterans.

While my planned versions of the 3DS/Wii U Smash Bros. games will have the same roster sizes as each other, I'd like to try and give each of them a few exclusive fighters.

Thanks for clearing things up

Also speaking of which, I'm against pushing up the roster up, since we have a lot of newbies already (and also I already did the roster on GIMP with ZSS in mind).

As for the "last" spot:
  1. Zero Suit Samus
  2. Knuckles
  3. Dixie Kong
I'd say we do still have Subspace Emissary, if anyone's willing to, I'd be happy to do a job or a few based on what order the characters appear in.

1. Villager
2. R.O.B.
3. Toad

I’d say to leave it at 42.

For Adventure Mode, I think having a modified Subspace would be cool to see where the maps are based on different universes.

From the looks of it, the majority is in favor of leaving the roster size at 42, so that's what we'll be doing!
  • Zero Suit Samus - 6
  • Toad - 1
  • R.O.B. - 12
  • Knuckles - 3
  • Villager - 12
  • Geno - 5
  • Dixie Kong - 4
  • Ray MK III - 5
We have a tie between Villager and R.O.B.! Naturally, this will be settled via a tiebreaker vote: the winner will be our final newcomer for Brawl, while the loser will make their fighter debut in the Wii U/3DS Smash Bros. games.

My own vote's for R.O.B., since he played an important role in the real-life Brawl's Adventure Mode, and would likely do so in this version of Brawl's Adventure Mode as well were he to be added.

Speaking of which, the general consensus on Adventure Mode seems to be "Subspace Emissary, but with more focus on Nintendo's characters and locations", which I agree is fitting for this version of Brawl.

Job #43: Submit a new stage from the Super Mario series
I'll submit Delfino Plaza, which functions the same as it did in the real-life version of Brawl.

Mario Stage: Mushroom Ruins (Mushroomy Kingdom renamed)
mushroomy.jpg

Works the same like in Brawl, but with ruined versions of levels 1-3 and 1-4 added.
(Randomly selected between 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4)

Mario Galaxy
Sort of a back porting of the Smash 4 stage to tie in with the new release

Agree that a Mario Kart stage is overdue but Rainbow Road is the clear choice imo, layout would be similar to Smash 3ds but based on the DS version of the track.

If you're not playing as Mario characters, they could appear in the stage racing each other with their own special karts like in the game, maybe?
(Like how Toon Link is in the Spirit Train stage from Smash 4)

A little detail to make things more lively.
(Mario with B-Dasher, Yoshi with Egg 1, Wario with Brute, and others)

I’ll vote Villager, and for the Mario Stage, I’ll go with Toy Dream from Mario Party 5.

Voting for R.O.B., Villager can wait longer. (Now I have to redo the GIMP roster since I exported the file with ZSS in mind)

R.O.B. is our final fighter for Brawl, while Villager is our second newcomer for Wii U/3DS!

I’ll nominate Project +’s version of Oil Drum Alley and Brawl’s Pirate Ship.

Donkey Kong Stage: Bramble Blast

The layout would be relatively simple: fighters would duke it out on a central platform with barrel cannons on either side. Breaking the central platform would cause fighters to fall into a load of brambles, but a barrel cannon appears in the center to break their fall. There are also two smaller wooden platforms on the top left and right bramble edges and a floating platform in between the two, all of which never break.

Mario Stage Vote:
  1. Mario Galaxy
  2. Delfino Plaza
Donkey Kong Stage:
1691656854733.png

Here's an oddball pick: Ancient Lake from Diddy Kong Racing. I reckon we can use the travelling stage gimmick since stages like Port Town and Delfino Plaza are in the actual Brawl, though I guess this only works if Rainbow Road ISN'T a stage. Various racers from DKR can have cameo appearances.

Zelda Stage:
1691657395811.png

Another oddball pick since Bridge of Eldin got taken, Vaati's Palace from Four Swords. Also a simple layout, but it takes place at the entrance of the palace, with Vaati making a cameo appearance at random points.

1. Mario Galay
2. Rainbow Road

DK Stage: 75m
75m - SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki

Would be the same as in Brawl.

I'll submit a LoZ stage later

Toy Dream
Rainbow Road

Alot of good choices though but decided to focus on spinoffs.

25m

Like the idea of giving one of the arcade games a stage in brawl but think 25m might work better imo.

Ordon Village

1st area of Twilight Princess, layout would take some loose inspiration from links crossbow training being an auto side scrolling stage that would make temporary stops at several locations throughout the area.

Ancient Lake
25m

Vaatis Palace
Ordon Village

Ceres Space Colony

Iconic 1st area of Super Metroid & likely inspiration behind Brinstar Escape for Melees adventure mode. An upwards scrolling stage like Icicle Mtn.

Yoshi's Puzzles

Stage would have original theme & rotate between Yoshi, Yoshis Cookie, & Tetris Attack puzzle pieces & gameplay as a hazard until all pieces are cleared & it rotates to the next games puzzle pieces & format.

  1. Galleon

Zelda
  1. Bridge
  2. Village
Metroid Stage: Crateria
images (28) (9).jpeg

Something like the one from Smash Flash 2 but more expanded and having underground caves with acid rain appearing at random points damaging fighters.
(Also Samus's gunship appears as a platform floating landing onto the stage)

Yoshi Stage: Piranha Sewer
images (28) (8).jpeg

Based off the eighth level of World 3, the fighters battle in the castle's sewer tunnels infested with lots of Piranha Plants, pipes, rushing water, and as well the big girl herself, Navel Piranha making an appearance taking over the whole place.

Kirby Stage: City Trial (Air Ride)
images (28) (11).jpeg

A stage that takes you through the city from Air Ride on a plaform landing in different locations as well hazards like meteors, fog, burning stations, and Dyna Blade appearing.

Star Fox Stage: Forever Train (64)
images (28) (10).jpeg

Located on Macbeth, the fighters find themselves on top of none other than the Forever Train itself as they fight and battle on the armoured locomotive and its cargo while under fire by a Landmaster and Mechbeth.
