Reflector Cancel

I've finally found a way to cancel reflector. I figured it out on accident. It took my a while to master how to do it but I think you guys would find it useful.

Here's how its done:

Jump in the air and fall with your reflector

Right before you land do a laser B reversal

Theres a short amount of frames in which this will work

It will take some time to get the timing down and you will have to work at it for a bit but I think it will be quite important to falco's metagame.

As far as the op's description went, it doesn't sound at all like he actually canceled the reflector. As Yum said, waiting until the reflector finishes and then lasering doesn't equate to a cancel.

If this does cancel in a way I am thinking of it woud be incredible. I am thinking that this would be similar to the lasers in the fact it cancels with zerolag. If it does that this would make the reflector finally useful and probably tip falco over the edge.

I mean just look at the reflector. The only reason it is bad is due to ending lag. With that gone, the move is incredible. Range, priority, and the ability to reflect projectiles. This would make it the ulimate defence against pretty much any kind of assult.

However, need video confirmation to determine how this works for real.

I need specific instruction of how to do it, like when to excute the reflector because I'm having no progress at it.

for it to be useful this would would basically need to allow you to execute the reflector at any time, and only the cancel would require strict, specific timing.
I'm gunna call rick roll before the video comes out

this would be *****in'. I love the reflector lol, the lag is very "dangerous" though and usually ends in punishment , if i could cancel it it wuld be friggen sweet!

Even if it does cancel the way he says, it'll result in shooting a laser on the ground away from the opponent. That still has a good amount of lag.

I think you shoot a laser while still in the air though, which has barely any lag. Or maybe falco pulls out the gun while in the air but the animation gets canceled. Im gonna test this out soon

Yeah this is nothing but timing the FH Shine so it finishes before you land. Not a cancel. U can do anything after the shine like nair bair, not just laser
