I think it kind of depends on if your hitting someone with your shine or not. cause I know falco's shine causes more hitlag to you than fox's does so you have to delay your jump a tiny bit more than for fox's waveshine.

You probably have to delay falcos a tiny bit more even when your not hitting someone also.. but im not sure.. cause i dont main fox anymore.. dropped him because switching back and forth messed up my waveshines (lol)

If you're talking about weight, Falco is actually heavier than Fox :x

But Falco's shine has 1 frame of hitlag more than Fox' shine, and his jump is way slower (6 frames vs. 4 frames). To waveshine with Falco, you have to input the jump and air dodge slightly slower than you do it with Fox. Hope that helps

Avenger Angel gave pretty much the only sensible response, lol.

For whatever it's worth, I find Waveshining with Falco way easier than with Fox, so it's really just a matter of what you're used to.

here's a playlist with some of my newer matches vs. marth/couple falcon. could i get some critique please gais? general advice, your opinion on my falco, whatever :)

edit; these are friendlys, i normally won't approach the ledge so aggro like i do in these matches, that's the only critique i don't care to hear for. i'm aware of proper spacing for ledge gaurd game in tourny.

I am a level 8 dread necromancer in my current DnD game.



So here's the deal. I kind of dislike all the smashers I have met in my area, Texas, ( I guess I am a east coaster at heart ) but I need to play smash. I have been trying to teach friends, but I would really start getting my *** kicked so I could progress my falco even farther , and learn how to properly play fox. should I:

A) Move back to Pittsburgh

B) go to houston tournaments anyway ( have no vehicle :( )

C) Rez more dead threads?


Also, the other day when I was playing a friend I was messing around with stalling on the ledge when I shined, then quickly wall jumped into a back flip back on the very edge of the stage. It was the most pimp thing I have ever seen, but I can not reproduce it. I did it on FD, any thoughts?

hey i remember you from the stream the other night.

I think most deffinately C is your best option.

I think giving houston tournys a try sounds like a good idea. im sure they aint THAT bad.
unless ofcourse your in a sitiuation where jumping up and moving to pitsburg would be no problem at all and you think more beneficial in all aspects than not then sure why not?

We've talked before, why does no one remember me D':

At anyrate, only reason I don't just get up and move back to PGH is finding my current profession out there is hard, and when you do, you have to go to multiple places as apposed to just one hospital/out patient clinic.


The people I'm sure aren't THAT bad, just pittsburgh smashers are so effeminately loving and awesome ( in the manliest way ) that it just doesn't compare. Plus having The Lake as my teacher were the best days of my life.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Maybe try and set something steady up befor you go back to PGH?

well march 31st-april 2nd is Tekko an anime convention with a melee tournament, those always turn out fun. Last year we had plank and chinesah show up.

Okay, so if you were making one LAST combo video of yourself, and you were obviously extremely **** [lets say the reason it is your last cv is because you are dying of some disease and the reason we all know you are **** is because with your death guarenteed to be soon, you unlocked some rock lee gate of smash enlightenment and won genesis 2 or something ], what 2 songs would you HAVE to have in your combo video?

I'm a Falcoholic. I turned to Falcohol after recovering from an addiction to Afoxicillin. I couldn't handle the withdrawal symptoms so Falcoholism was the only option. Feels good.

yeah its some good**** for sure.

unfortunally lately I have been more addicted to falconhol instead of falcohol though...

Falconhol is just too damn good.
