Not sure why anyone had hope after the leak was proven to be nothing but a troll being a troll. Sakurai has said that there is no DLC coming outside of Mewtwo.

Not sure why anyone had hope after the leak was proven to be nothing but a troll being a troll. Sakurai has said that there is no DLC coming outside of Mewtwo.

And anything Sakurai says should be taken with a grain of Salt. he said Melee and Brawl would be his last games too. Kid Icarus uprising and SSB4 were still made by him. Then there's his BS statements for his decisions in Smash.
Besides if Nintendo open their eyes they'll see the potential to make a lot of money and force Sakurai to make them.

Well, how can I be dissapointed if I'm not surprised?

I'm sure alot of us would have liked the leaker to keep his mouth shut and wait for Ubisoft to say something of value, but it must be nerve-wracking to keep that up. It also wasn't his plan to have that blow up the way it did.

We can consider this myth:

Outside of Ubisoft not saying anything at all, this is about what I'd hoped for. They didn't go for any cheap PR points, so I'm happy that Ubisoft's / Rayman's PR team is acknowledging Artsy Omni's work.

The realization that it's what I wanted has made me very cynical against any type of additional DLC post-Mewtwo. That, and reading up on Sakurai mentioning that he's getting out of Namco offices when Mewtwo's done.. I think I'm jumping to conclusions at this point.

Right now, I just want to get the promised features and Mewtwo released, so I can know if Nintendo plans to keep working on Smash 4 or not. I'd ideally like Smash 4 to be continuously worked on as a service, by a smaller team or sumthin'.
