Well, I didn't saw that trailer until years later, but, if I had seen it before the Rabbids stuff, I would have been really disappointed,

...Well, Sonic's always teetering, so I can tolerate that. Plus he's had more good games then Rayman, only by numbers of games released...Rayman for me only had 5, four I've played...But having RR at the time I was wanting a "Rayman 4", and realizing I almost got...twice...It killed it for me...if it wasn't for the newer games and I guess Smash, I may not be a Rayman fan anymore as much as I still am now...

Did you see this "Fairy" from Rayman 3?
(The first time I saw it, I thought she didn't have legs and that was a skirt, but no.. xD)
It's a sticker from the print studio, it seems like a version of Ly in Rayman 3, I'm glad she didn't appear with that look.. at least we have her glorious design from Rayman 2 (in form of statue

What do you think of "this" Ly:
I think is the model they were going to use for her appearance in Rayman 3, I don't like her face.. it would be better with bigger eyes and green lips (the last face is scary..)

Everything you said I agree with. The only one I like is R2/ R3 Statue. This is why I wish she'd return in future 3D games, so that they can make a HD version of that design/model for her....What do you think of "this" Ly:

Body is ok, I'd say. But is basically a higher poly version of her R2 model if anything. The face is the main issue with this model, imo..

Have you seen this before than?
This is a fan made model some person did years ago for a game project I believe, or maybe just a test thing. I think it's nice, but a few things I'd like a bit better if the face was more like R2. But it's still better than the ones above... ._.

Yeah. The hair could be better, maybe like how I got it for the way I draw Ly. I feel the hair like that works better for her, judging from this.
Pretty much the best model of her, being the poster renders of course..

I wanted to see Ly doing that in the game, but we only see her giving powers to Rayman.

Well, in R2 she lost most of her powers thanks to Razorbeard's influence. But maybe if they ever brought her back, they could give her more abilities for her to use for Rayman, and even enough for her to be playable, I'd wish...

Eh, I can't really complain much about this. If this was Ubisoft, they'd probably given her the same treated like what they did with Betilla in terms of body design.

I'm more than comfident they'd do that, to my dismay. ._. There is a fan art drawing of that as well...
I'd hope this doesn't become of her if they stick to 2D Rayman games that are like Origins/Legends...
I didn't really like it that much, although I find it "better" than the 3D model with the smaller eyes like that for R3 posted above. It's still better than that redesign for her for R3, period... ._.
What do you think of this one? It was used on in the GBA version of Raving Rabbids.

With the risk of sounding like a perv, I actually like Betilla's redesign in Origins, it would not work for Ly though.

I didn't know you never seen this one before. But yeah, it's my second favorite one that isn't the official one of R2...it's sad that fans can do better than the likes of "professionals" when it comes to this...

It's fine, we all have preferences. As much as Betilla's new design doesn't fully bother me (I didn't even realized it was her until I looked it up), but agreed, I don't want Ly to look that way in that style... ._.With the risk of sounding like a perv, I actually like Betilla's redesign in Origins, it would not work for Ly though.

Ly is supposed to appear in the game as a younger protector of the glade. she thinks Rayman is Dark Rayman and tries to kill him in a chase section. some concept art of this 'chase section' appears in an old video of him.
