Anna
Chance - 1%
When judging Fire Emblem characters, I tend to judge them in terms of relevancy, then popularity. Anna's never been that relevant, despite how she's appeared in every Fire Emblem game, just because she's often regulated to an NPC role, rather than something playable. Whenever she is playable, she's hardly ever important. In Awakening, she was an optional side character. In Fates, she was a DLC character. In Warriors, she was a post-game unlockable. I really just can't see her ever getting in over an actual main lord.
(If you aren't a Fire Emblem geek, the main lord is essentially the main character of the game. Every Fire Emblem character currently in Smash is considered to be the lord of their respective game, and the three previous Fire Emblem characters we've rated, Chrom, Lyn, and Celica, are also considered to be lords of their respective game, although Celica isn't classified as a lord in her game, and Lyn and Celica both share their lord status with Hector + Eliwood and Alm respectively.)
She's
somewhat of a lord in Fire Emblem Heroes, the mobile game, along with two others, named
Alfonse and
Sharena. Even still, I feel like the mobile game would be better represented by a character original to that game, like
Veronica,
Fjorm, or hell, even the little bird
Feh.
She's also never been a SUPER popular character either, coming in
13th in the Fire Emblem Awakening popularity poll, came in
17th in the Fire Emblem Heroes Choose Your Legends poll, and placing 19th when combining all of her CYL 2 votes, so they can't really fall back on a "She's popular!" sort of thing like they could pretty easily do with a lot of older lords in the series.
Really the one thing she has going for her is that she shows up a lot, even if she hardly does anything in most games. She's like the Nurse Joy of Fire Emblem: in every game, but never really worth noting.
I always try to avoid giving characters 0%'s in terms of chance, but we're really stretching it here, and I think Anna is where I'm going to draw the line.
I'm pretty sure most Fire Emblem characters from here on out are just going to get a 0% from me in terms of chance.

Meh. I'd really prefer other Fire Emblem characters. If she comes into Smash, she'll likely be either using her
Trickster set (which uses Levin Swords) or her
Heroes set (which uses axes). Robin already has the Levin Sword thing covered, and even though an axe-wielder would be pretty unique in Smash, I struggle to think of a moveset that could really make use of an axe in a way that it wouldn't just be a glorified sword.
