But, C'mon, we don't even get a mention? "All these dudes from these games will be here! But don't worry about Brawl, no one who matters will."

You could have at least mentioned that Brawl will be an event, and just show some footage of the crowd, or at least M2K and Ally. I know you took the shots/footage of the people, why not use it?

Brawl is such an amazing game, it needs to get more hype. It has mad sponsors, and is way better than games like Tekken. It's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more popular than Tekken and most of the other games there except maybe Halo. Next year I'm gonna see (can't promise anything) if I can get some Japanese here (idk what the odds of that will be but I can try)

I know we've been bitter about things (rulesets, HD tvs etc.) but if we were treated like the rest...perhaps big projector or some extra seats for audience (both Tekken 6 and the WoW tv had benches, my feet killed me at Columbus and I had to resort to sitting on the hard floor)...I'd feel moar appreciated xD

But yeah, we're new to the circuit, I guess we can suck it up for now and hope for the best later. At least we're back on the circuit ;D! which makes me happies =3

Smash is WAY bigger than most of the games currently on the circuit. We don't need a million FPS and Tekken isn't even remotely close to being as popular as Smash is.

Wow, that's blatant disrespect. It's not like Brawl's casual fanbase isn't on a really high level. Brawl sold almost 9.5 million copies, Halo sold 8.1mil, WoW has 11.5 million subscribers; these games are all comparable to each other in terms of popularity.

I really love MLG, and I'm glad that we're on the circuit, but this is a slap in the face.

The MLG Smash experience is overrated imho. The atmosphere of the event (meaning the venue) itself is amazing and I won't deny that, but Grassroots Nationals provide a much better gameplay experience overall (with pools being included, some people not traveling far just to go 0-2, playing on "normal" TVs, etc.).

Step it up on the representation, MLG. You have copyright issues to look out for and things of that nature, I understand; but not even any mention of our top placers, crazy amount of hype, crowd/station pictures, or at least M2K? Where's the equivalence in all of that? The Tekken station literally asked for some of our hype numerous times because they were severely lacking in it. Smash is hype. Show some love.

I was very surprised our top players weren't mentioned. That made it seem like M2K winning back-to-back was such a big deal and didn't even note it in the video. What a shame.

Our game is getting dropped. Same thing happened to my previous game I played MLG for Gears of War. Epic never supported GOW and it dropped after a few seasons. They didn't cooperate at all with MLG just like nintendo. We even had live stream support against epics wishes and it dropped anyways. It's a shame because smash is sooo good but without proper support it's going to die at mlg.

Also, did you even watch the trailer. All these ****** games with people ******. And then you see MK vs Olimar on Delfino Plaza, sharking him and hyping it up. I don't think it fits in with the list anyway. Melee would, if they just showed some awesome combo as a teaser. But not Brawl.

Because it sucks to watch it if you don't know stuff about it.

Look at the activity on Zaibatsu, and then come to smashboards. We blow it out of the water. MLG needs to get their **** straight and get a Brawl stream to give brawl more hype.

Competitively Smash isn't up there with any of those games, the closest was melee. Smash will and always be seen as a party game, and that's the way most people look at it.

There is no wow factor for the game, especially Brawl, Melee had some flashy combos and tech skill, but MK dittos are hardly any fun to watch. I love Brawl though :heart:.

Jesus christ, if someone doesn't do SOMETHING, instead of "oh, we'd rather just host it on the circuit and not keep trying" then it WILL be dropped for these reasons. Either the people in charge that wanted brawl in the first place need to speak to Nintendo about it, like, persistently, or get many of the brawl community members to call / email / write nintendo about it.

Though I hate Halo, I can understand its enjoyment for others, for I play CS:S and I find that amusing to watch. I know WoW is the greatest selling MMO of all time, but for real...it is soo boring to watch...and that is coming from someone who played WoW since release.
