How are glare johns legit? Aren't both players playing with the same amount of glare on the same TV?

Because it becomes a test of skill AND who can deal with glare better as opposed to skill by itself.

There are also 'dark TV' johns. You know those TV's where Ganondorf is practically invisible on DK64. I hate that sheet.

brand new controller johns are ok. to play falco or fox you need a broken in controller.

if you play peach or marth i dont think it matters too much.

"ive been playing brawl" johns would just be an embarrassing event.
Hey, you go do an FCNair ---> Jab x2 ---> grab with a new controller, and see how well it goes.

Also, why the **** are P's questions getting more responses than mine? I dont like him anymore. (<3)

I like Dark TV's lawls. Glare TV's are terrible though...

I like new controllers... and even if they're not new, I get the hang of them pretty quick. I hate broken in controllers with loose sticks. That I just can't deal with...

fc nair jab isn't really hard, and jab2 => grab is very not hard

most commonly, "controller johns" have to do with shielding and dashing

well, you really first have to define what makes a john "legit"

is it whether it really affect someone's play? almost every john is "legit" then

is it whether it was preventable? whether it's a choice they consciously made?

like if a giant naked man is rubbing your nipples while playing that might be a good john, if you're not homosexual, or still in the closet.

youre not officially homosexual until you come out of the closet? because im pretty sure what you just said was pretty redundant.

what about sweaty hands johns?
the warmer my hands are, the better I play
sweaty hand johns are not legit at all

I think there's a real smashfest about once a week
I don't play at home ever, i should start
I play with PsychoMidget a lot (1-4 times a week), but at this point we kinda mess around since we know each other's style so well

ugh i hate when i figure something out then i **** him for 2 matches, then he figures me out and he ***** me for 2 matches, then it just goes back and forth
well i love it, cause we're both learning, but i hate it cause i can never permanently get the upper hand

we should probably do more sheik vs puff

It probably takes him just as much effort to have the new question on both the first and last page on the thread as it takes for you to take a look at the OP.

Kindly Shut the **** Up.

As for the question:

It really depends on the tourneys that are coming up and how motivated I am in placing well at those tourneys.

So sometimes, I might find myself playing on my own for about an hour or so once or twice every two weeks or other times I find myself playing 2-3 times a week (sometimes with Futile but mainly on my own).

With that said, I am currently playing almost everyday (about 30 mins a day) this week and plan to play a lot next week as well in preperation for Mango Juice. I don't think a tourney has ever motivated me to play this much since Brawls release...

it's the effort for one poster (the OP) as opposed to the effort for every single reader

not that i mind it or anything

i know how cool it is to say "Kindly Shut the **** up." all nice and formatted but you're ****ing ********
he types the new question in an edit, then goes to last page, and then makes his colors and stuff and types his response. instead of copying the question while he goes to the last page and pasting it after he does his cute lil colors and a response

Yeah, when all you need to do is click on the thread title, read the new question and respond on the very same page. It's really that easy. *****ing about it just makes you look ******** at this point.

You know you can read the question on the first page, scroll down to the quick replay area, and then type your reply without ever leaving the first page.

HOWEVER, i'll start posting the on the last page just for you.

But he's the one who wants us to answer the questions...

Kindly Shut the **** Up.
Why in the world do you always have to be so hostile because of a disagreement of opinions? This is community, we all know each other... Would you "correct" someone and then say "Kindly shut the **** up" in your college course, or to a cousin? Of course not. Show some respect.

And no, *****ing about it doesn't make him look ********. How? It's perfectly logical. Like Pocky said, the effort of one (who wants us to answers these) to save the effort of many. If you're going to make a topic, responsibilities come with it. If you can't exchange discussion in a mature manner, good luck at life.
