I'm all up for any new Kid Icarus rep whether it be Viridi, Medusa, or Hades. So she has my support.

Medusa taking on Pit and Magnus, Dark Pit and Phosphora and finally Palutena would be the best.

It would be cool if we get a double reveal with both Viridi and Medusa.

I can see that in her reveal video, even if shes an echo, as Dark samus had her working with Ridley and Mother brain and a metroid

Yeah, Dark Samus with all the villains was cool. They really like to feature assists in their videos when it's relevant, like Alucard with Richter or Lyn & Roy, for example. Or the freezed Metroid in Samus' trailer!

Let's hope Medusa is shown in this direct so I don't have to make a whole "why should she be an echo part" in the opening post once I get the ownership back x)

So nintendo direct coming tommorow. While I want to see Medusa I honestly think she won't be shown till we are told about the single player mode.

While I don't think they'll focus much on Smash, a newcomer trailer is almost certain, and I hope we get a small look at a couple more echoes. The pessimist in me says Ken and Shadow, but I sure hope we get 'dusa.

If we see echos(which I am sure), Dixie Kong, if she is in, will be one of them. Its the direct after the K Rool Trailer, and the end of that trailer seems like a perfect starting point for Dixies trailer.

The other one I see happening is Isabelle. if an Animal crossing game is talked about this is an guarantee.

I feel like Medusa will be shown off with the story mode, and I don't think that is showing here. I do this we will get also 2 newcomers. 2 newcomers and 2 echos won't take too much of the 35 minute long direct

Both Phosphora and Magnus aren't confirmed for the moment. And that's slightly weird, considering both work very well with the "Assist that you can fight" concept.

This also apply to Saki Amamiya, I really hope he is still here (Sin & Punishment is the basis for KI:U flying gameplay after all)

Yeah, the weird thing so far is how much the Kid Icarus content is just there, no particular focus. Except for Pit's Final Smash and Palutena's special moves. The staff was an item among others.
I'm really surprised that they didn't showcased the Reset Bomb Forest so far. Maybe it's not finished, but it's one of the stage that really beneficiates from the transition to HD (atlhough others do as well, like Arena Ferox, Magicant or Gerudo Valley, I really want to see Koume & Kotake in HD too)

Yeah, maybe. Although Magnus' role as an assist is perfect, considering is place in Kid Icarus Uprising. But I wouldn't mind a boss from KI, especially if we get a gigantic Hades trashtalking everyone (a surprise reveal like the fake ending of KI:U would be so perfect).

Actually, I was thinking about that. I can see Sakurai showing of story mode, going over some bosses, then saying, Here are 2/3 new echo villains joining the game with this mode, and we get Medusa, Shadow, and Black Shadow or Akuma

Now Daisy is in and I have only Medusa left to wish for. And all the sudden hoping for Medusa's inclusion has become more realistic and safer to do. Her chances are bigger than ever before! I pray that Sakurai will reveal her sooner or later. If not tomorrow, than some other time.

This is noteworthy at least yes! It's in the midst of the Smash hype, but I recall that she actually does like various fanarts and such on twitter or instagram, if my memory work correctly.

Nintendo Direct delayed due to earthquake. Yeah it's a little dissapointing as I needed some good news after this week.. but what's far more important are the lives affected by this tragedy.. I pray for the best
