Due to the small turnout, the bracket was fairly messed up. Also only 1st - 3rd were paid out for both singles and doubles because the crash on the highway kept so many people away. 2 hours late start due to a double semi crash on the M1. About 6 people who normally would attend couldn't make it due to other commitments also.

Lots of really good MM's played and competitive smash. I will post a link to R4VEN's page to watch videos etc.

Hotdog: Glad I can finally take down that Kirby. Thanks for coming along and hoped you would get back into it after this tourney. Thanks for the good competitive play over the last 2 years of me competing.

Jaice: Amazing, I wish we could all put more of a fight up against you, can't wait to see how you go at reloaded now.

Cal: Keep working at the D3 MU, you will get me soon. You don't ever have to approach until I'm ready to die lol. Most chars can hard camp D3.

Toki: I hate your Marth so very much. But I <3 you and your new hair lol

R4VEN: Pure champ, sorry about our MM, will have a super legit one next tourney where the MU isn't so far in my favour. Thanks heaps for all the recording etc.

Blade & Pop: Keep working at it and try not to be too predictable. Too much of the same move can make you easy to punish at times. Learn to space those Bairs.

Tiahn: I will never understand how you don't do better lol.

Gords: Great to have you up for the tourney. Sorry for the small attendance, but those who were there atleast got a chance to show you how much QLD is getting better. Awesome friendlies too.

My bad hotdogz. My phone saved the day though I was worried during our friendlies that I wasn't going to be able beat you but I was surprised that I won comfortably. Hope to see you around :D Teach me MvC?? xD

Most of my matches with everyone were good except for the MK matchup where I only won a third of the time. Thought I had it down but oh well, I'll keep at it.

@Kaion Damn I swear I'm so close to beating you in bracket. I'm just so hot and cold versing Metaknights right now. Also our MM was good. Almost had it but my SD ruined the last game. Oh well, I lost more money at the casino later that night

@Toki Thanks for practice and teaching me blackjack. Always fun hanging out with you <3

@Jaice I wish you didn't main olimar I feel more comfortable against all of your other chars now. Keep up the pwnage.

Yeh the recordings are excellent, wish I had more of my matches on that tv though . Really wanted to asess my matches against Jaice and Toki to see where I can improve more. I saw mistakes in my matches against Cal that I won't do again.

The scene really hasn't shrunk, it was just the Vyse, Nat, Arrow, Sea & Oldman couldn't attend due to committments. Playace also didn't make it, but I will keep in touch to see how keen he is to become a regular at these events.

When we are all available, the scene is a good size I think, but I agree with Kaion and J-birds. Quality over quantity, and a healthy scene is what we are trying to develope atm. Wouldn't mind playing that J-birds Snake and MK again too.

I'm usually not that bad when it comes to SD'ing. I gotta get a feel for where I should be if I'm going to spike with DK otherwise I won't make it back. Plus I Fastfalled which didn't help at all :/

I really wanted to play you this tourney too Kaion, but my bracket was hell ********. (Need more attendance so the bracket isn't so uneven). I think if we were to play a dead even MU between chars, it would be such an intense match. We just end up countering each other every time we play though lol.

I liked my matches against Cal for 5th play off. My MM against Hotdog was good too.

Need to keep training with my secondary before I play it at a tourney. I have finally after all this time decided on characters that I'm going to stick with. Need to beat Jaice's Oli first. I come close with D3 which shouldn't happen, but he punishes me whenever he is behind in the stock. So much clutch power.

I think Jesmo has to be considered for 2nd, seeing as he beat everyone at one of the last 3 tourneys. See what happens I suppose.

Toki's play style is just so vastly different to anyone in the scene. I struggle so badly, and the worst part is, I don't understand why so I just blame the character. Cal teach me how to beat him, and I'll teach you the D3 MU.

Just Marth, unless I use MK or Snake in which the matches are close and usually go to last stock last game. However all my mains get trounced, and D3 is supposed to have a good MU on him.
