I'm just curious on why you want her. She was a terrible character in Other M (considering the other options Ridley and Anthony) and her boss battle was a cutscene. Back to Lip, I've never played Panel de Pon but I'm guessing its just like Pokemon Puzzle League.

When I get done with this temporary vacation from GAF, I'm going to look into asking my friend there if we could do move set poster images for Lip a la the one we're working on for Takamaru. Pray to your favorite deity that I can get this extra work greenlit. Also help me iron out things for a move set that would best catch the eyes of other people making votes. I'm particularly fond of @lightdasher's animated concepts posted way earlier in the thread, but that's only her specials without customs, normal moves or a final smash.

I've got some ideas for a new Lip moveset that combines ideas of many of the previous movesets that were posted in this thread. I could polish all of that up and post it here if it'd give you any help with your endeavors.

That would be awesome @N.Onymous . I'd like to get a crowd sourced set of moves (detailed explanations of animations and personality goals primarily) that would immediately convey what she's about. I'll definitely be skewing the special moves to @lightdasher's concepts since I feel like I've sold a number of people elsewhere on Lip before 4's release with her gifs alone. So everyone here, let's get to work and do well.

I actually feel like we can have both Lip's Stick as an item and Lip doing flower damage to opponents. One of the changes I wanted to add to Lightdasher's Up B concept:

Was to have it so that Lip would cast a falling dust like cloud of magic that would generate the flower status on opponents that are under her as she passes over them.

We should all treat her with respect! I don't want her to become an Assist Trophy like Takamaru.
I care for Lip because she is the core character of the Puzzle League franchise.
If she makes it to Smash as a DLC newcomer, somewhere down the line, Panel de Pon/Puzzle League will start to become a lot more recognizable around the world.
I don't want such a series I master like a boss like Puzzle Leaguebe forgotten. I want it to be loved, respected with care, especially with Nintendo Network Online multiplayer. So, we should all stop embarass her, and just give her a chance to fight.

Now does anybody here got a good name for Lip's trailer? Here's mine:

Or should it be "A Magical Debut!"

I think it'd be funny and cool if Lip wasn't a light character. What if she actually felt heavy and had some huge slow wind-up moves with insane killing power like Bowser's dropkick or Donkey Kong's giant punch?

I want to see Lip grabbing her opponent with her ponytail and slamming them into the ground like Cerebella's Ultimate Showstopper in Skullgirls.

Tell me that would not be hype as all hell.

I'd personally prefer a quick and light Lip since I lean more towards mobile characters.

It'd be perfect if she was a good air fighter as well.

The sprites make me so jealous that Nintendo Puzzle Collection didn't make it to the west.

I'm not really sure about making other fairies her alternate costumes. I want to see some alternate colours for Lip too.

That's what I fear about, if Lip has many costumes in Japan, it is praticaly sure that will be replaced by simple colors in the rest of the world.
