I wanted to pick a Persona villain while tiptoe-ing around spoilers (for as weird as that sounds)

Anyways, here's a gameplay mechanic I thought of: Trio Attacks, where specific Pair Units could team up with specific Solo Units (for example; Sonic, Tails and Knuckles) to perform a special team attack.

I had this exact same idea, like Joker and Queen doing an all out attack normally but if you equip a third Persona character as a solo unit you get an all out attack with the three Persona characters together.

I find it extremely bizzare that in the three X zone games weve gotten Classic Megaman has never showed up. He's gotta exist somewhere in this world since we know that eventually the X series and the Legends series happens right? Whats Rock doing during all these wacky events?

Actually i just had a good idea for that, in a new X Zone game they have it take place just after the first classic Megaman game and say that he's only recently been created?

I dont know how they would make a moveset for him but Masaki from Super robot wars would be a neat inclusion as a solo unit

His whole shtick is that he and his two cat familiars who shoot lazers keep getting lost in different sections of the SRW multiverse which X zone is a part of, with his most recent appearance being him showing up in Super robot wars X for the Switch. Teaming up with characters from Gundam wing and Code Geass.

3D, 3D games are always better.
2D Project X Zone games are basically boring and bland, so better cross the barrier to 3rd Dimension!
Unless if we want to go easy, then just go with 2D to not worry about problems.

I think it'd be pretty hard to replicate PXZ's appeal in 3D, seeing how much it relies on exaggerated pixel animation that would be extremely hard to capture with 3D models.

Not to mention, they allow characters to e implemented more easily, making such a big roster feasible.

2D characters and pixel art, but the Environments are 3D.

I think it would stay similar to it is already, with 3D models for environments and big things like Urashima's turtle ship thing and 2D sprites for characters and enemies. Watching the sprite animations are the best part.

They'd probably stick to 2D because it's sister series Super Robot Wars still uses 2D for like 90% of it's assets, unless the IP's they use have a lot of 3D in them.

Like for example Cross Ange when it showed up In two of the SRW switch games they had most of Ange's animations be 2D sprites unless it was her final attack then they replicate the 3D animation seen in her anime.

I'm surprised Masaki wasnt in either X zone 1 or 2, considering his entire schtick was that he travels throughout the alternate realities of Bandai Namco crossover titles and half the time we see him in SRW it's the same guy, there's like 2 Masaki's running around, one from the OG timeline who has met guys like Spike Spiegel and Heero Yui and the one from the SNES timeline who came back for SRW30.
