What are the codes I need to play as the Alloys?
Character modifier. IDs:

On topic: Interesting idea! I can't wait until this is finished. Making a Primid playable by model-swapping? YEAH! I can't wait to use it. I'm waiting 'till it's completed. It's pretty unstable, right? The game constantly crashing is a little annoying...

I wish that Waluigi project hadn't been abandoned...

Because it's trying to find a spot to save their records into the game and when it does, it overwrites some of the music.

Odd... Their icons say "Bowser" and "Wario", and they don't save to their respective "normal" characters. Is this what the "don't wreck My Music code" does? Say, save Giga Bowser's records in Bowser's file?

Glad you like it; I'll increase his speed and see how it looks. As for the size, I can pretty much make him any size we want. However, once the size is chosen, it has to stay that way, else all our hitboxes won't sync up properly. I personally like his kind of small size, but it's ultimately up to you.

Bummer about the Motion file. I'll hold off on any drastic animation changes for now then. I'll look into what Falco400 mentioned.

Regarding animations, I think he needs a new dash animation. The current one makes his movement kinda clunky, if you know what I mean.
Right right... Well, after messing around, I have grown accustomed to his size. So let's leave it alone. As for run animations, Primid doesn't have anymore. He has his walk animations (Used on walkslow and walkmiddle) and then his running animations (Used on Dash, run, and walkfast). Anyways, I fixed the clunkiness issue myself and made him a little bit faster.

I am going to get up off my lazy butt and finish his motion file this weekend, so I will let you know how that is. I also gave him a new Dsmash which looks kind of awesome. I will talk to you more about graphics and what not later though.

Please read before asking questions. I have answered this like a bazillion times. PRIMID CANNOT USE OTHER CHARACTERS ANIMATIONS! He appears displaced. This can be clearly seen if you try to crouch with him, as the version I released uses Luigi's crouch. Not to mention it had nothing to do with the animation being used. This issue has been resolved though, and Primid can walk.

That was just to let you guys mess around with Primid while I was out of commission. I am back in business now, much faster than I thought. Anyways, Primid doesn't have enough animations to qualify for one moveset, let alone four. Primid currently uses elements of all the other Primids (Ftilt is boomerang chop animation, Dtilt is a sword reflection, etc). I could piece together other attacks, but as I said above, it looks like crap.

Well I for one will be using this PAC a lot when it's finished!

Anyone gonna actually "main" the Primid? I might, along with Eldiran's badass Killable Giga Bowser (which I've wanted since hacks even surfaced)

Well the way Custom animations are set up are currently beyond me. I barely understand it, but I think it is just set positions for each bone per frame of animation, most likely using tweens. I have heard a little bit of talk about being able to view animations in the near future, so I might wait for that before I start dramatic changes to animations.

The one I released is like v0.3. I am still not near finishing him. I am currently finishing all of his animations (Which isn't hard, I am just lazy), and then doing some move editing.

Alright, I have a couple MagGuiver-esque suggestions that I have NO idea if they'll work or not, to solve some of your problems with using an alloy base.

Firstly, the ledge grabbing thing. Would it be possible to add ledge grabbing qualities to some of his attacks, like the qualities on a Zair, or on ZSS/Shiek's side-B?

Secondly, for the specials, if B can't be used, perhaps you could relegate them to some of the diagonal tilts (such as how Bowser's F-tilt can be angled up/down) and diagonal smashes (Such as Luigi's)

Nao who would we replace on the menu to make Primid? .REL files tell the game what to load. And the Character select we can edit. So we can make Mario's Green Color load Red Alloy. Or, Primid.

Yep yep, help is still appreciated. I am working on some stuff right now, but once I am done, I might send the PAC your way. If you are willing, here are a few things that I currently want done.

Up B
-If you could, just a standard recovery please and thank you. We can map out damage and what not at a later date. Just his first jump animation is fine. I don't want it to go into helpless either.

Up Smash
- For whatever reason I can't figure this out. I want his Up smash to launch him into the air a couple of feet. I can deal with the hit boxes myself.

Just let me finish some animation tweaks, since I should be able to finish everything in the next little while. Please and thanks.

Here is a little bit of Primid 0.4 action for you guys. He is fully playable, and should be able to handle lower level CPUs with ease (I can currently take on a level seven with him). Just download the files marked with todays dates, (Primid is his motion file, and the one called Primid Moves is his PAC file).

I personally am a fan of his quick powerful attacks, but I am going to have to nerf him a bit since he currently has the power of a rhino Red Alloy.

Current Known Glitches
-Occasionally freezes when tripping
-Occasionally freezes when landing using Fair
-Sometimes moves don't make any contact with targets (Rare)
-Cannot be thrown (The screen messes up for a second, but then goes back to normal)
-Several incorrect animations (Sleeping animations, grabbed animations, tripping animations, footstooling)

Youtube. People are going to swipe and upload videos, regardless of anything. Pay no attention to it, 'cause it really isn't a big deal.

That said, I'm really impressed with what you've done with the Primid so far. Great stuff.

Yes, you do. You need to get FitZakoBoy.pac (Containing all his moves, also required to run), the FitZakoboy00.pac, the FitZakoboy00.pcs (Both are required to display the model), and finally, the most important piece, the FitZakoBoyMotion.pac. This will play all of his required animations.

Problem is, that just outright crashed the game. :( Maybe something went wrong... I'll try again.
EDIT: That worked! ...until the result screen.

You need to have the fix for Alloys on the result screen, or else it will freeze since they have no losing animation. I might be able to avoid this using PSA, since they have the slot for the animation, but they don't have any animation in it.

Nice, try to mix up mario and luigi's moveset to adapt it to the primid, and please add some eye textures.
Don't you remember when he said that doing other characters' moves/animations distorted the Primid model?

And no one needs textures now. He's working on actually making the character functions properly.

Certainly. I wasn't aware you hadn't made any changes to the .pac -- I'll give it a try.

Whelp, I gave it a go, and Alloy's specials cannot be used. Even having a Change Action 114 whn Up+B is pressed, and filling 114 with stuff doesn't work.

On the plus side, I can still change to other actions when Up+B is pressed, so giving Alloy a jump as his Up+B is very plausible.
