I wasn't trying to get any point across, it's just that with games I don't know much about, seeing someone decent might register as seeing someone great.

I wouldn't be able to tell between a good player and a great player unless it was pretty evident, brawl doesn't do much to make it obvious, it's like *run, run, shield a lot, spam something, attack the air, trade hits, get 2 hit combos, get sent flying at 200% and hold the control stick towards the stage to live, stare at each other and jump, camp the ledge*.

Since I'm pretty ignorant about the game, that's what it looks to me at most levels of play.
I meant point taken as in I agree with you. After 30 seconds most Bwarl matches bore me too.

And that's basically how it is usually. @_@ You know more than you think haha.

Still pending, if I get in, you're all free to visit me. Ontario isn't that far, XD.

But yeah, my second character was Pichu before, and I performed fairly well considering my choice. Also, Pkmvodka's DK was able to fight against Spacies fairly admirably. You'd be surprised what a very good Low Tier can do. I think Decadent One had a very respectable Bowser back in the days.

And good your Ganon is doing Quebec honour in PM tourneys, Kage. How do you feel about PM Ganon as compared to Melee Ganon?

If you are talking about Brainshock Beta, then yes, Strong Bad is bringing Project M there.

-removed- Streaming from the hotel we're staying in. Connection is a bit spotty and may have lag occasionally but should still be good. Also, due to connection we were unable to update our files. Our files are about 3-4 days old. Just a heads up.

EDIT: currently trying to use different settings to reduce lag. Stream should be up soon.

Unacceptable, end that stream right now, if I wanted an old version I'd go play the demo. ;)

So to fill the giant void in my soul from the lack of a stream *glare* I'm watching random old P:M matches on YT. I have to say SB has by far the most entertaining P:M matches I have ever seen <_< Darkrain. Are you srs? You should post more. I really should be following these matches better. I've missed so much.

If you guys can get some matches of Germ playing P:M Link you'd be my heroes.

I still to this day perform best in tournament using Donkey Kong, despite spending a decent amount of time learning Fox and Marth.
Haha, I didn't say it was impossible. Just that the bar IS being abnormally good with a low tier. If that's true than kudos SB

yeah I go even with high level Sheik's these days.
though they'd probably win more often if they CG'd but still.

Burai: darkrain hasn't come back to KC since last thanksgiving :(

Really?.. But he yielded some of the most awesome and melee-esque P:M matches. =_=
DARKRAIN... Get your *** back here and fight someone! *Is seriously in a position to be barking out commands to someone who will never see it.* Yeah.
But anyway that's really unfortunate.. Perhaps he'll come back some time.

And also, if I get my wifi working I'd really like to play your DK once the full version comes out. He looks awesome. Even if the matches would be lolwifi it'd still be cool.

I think the way it would make the most sense would be a combo lasting until either the person executing the combo hits the enemy's shield, the enemy strikes back, or the person comboing throws out a move and having none of their hitboxes connect (after the opponent is out of hitlag), or missing a grab. This way things like tech chasing / chaingrabbing can add to the counter. I'd love this as an optional addition.
This way it would still count as a combo if the player being comboed just stands there and takes another hit after the combo is technically done.
Imo tech chases don't really count as combos either because you can actively do something to avoid the next hit BEFORE you get hit - this is different from DI where you can't do anything after the trajectory has been determined (ie after a move has connected).

That is to say in an aerial combo you can act while BEING HIT, not between hits.

Well... when I'm going to Missouri if there's no P:M tourney, I suppose I can try to take any MMs for it. =P
then make sure someone films it so i can watch... cause your ganon is awezome.
... is what made me start playing ganon in brawl... that sounds kinda stupid to me...

lol, thanks. =) But I mean I did start with Ganon in Brawl but eventually I learned the mechanics of the game and I changed to Marth/Ike. Ike has similar gameplay styles. But ya anyways, I made it my mission that I can embody Ganon for everyone. =P

When my brother picked up Ganon in P:M due to the lack of Ike I made him watch your matches to show him how it's done.

the one vs mango was first. Ahaha.

Well, you earned the compliments. You are definitely one of my favorite Melee players.

I'll be making a general BrawlBox tutorial soon. This way, people who are applying but want to learn BrawlBox can have an easier time this way or just for people who want to use BrawlBox for their own personal use.

Some people have trouble using it. It is simple once you know what to do. Also, some people need to know how to use BrawlBox to find Bone IDs for PSA.

The stage tutorial you gave was very helpful. I'm pretty sure others will be as well. If you want I can refer you to some Brawlbox tutorial videos. Look up the user Wakaplaca from Kc-mm.com or on youtube. his channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/WackaAlpaca.

Question are applications still being accepted or once your app is "rejected" can you re-apply or apply again the next time apps are available?

*sigh* What am I supposed to say when people compliment me? lol.. I always have mixed feelings about it.
Lol, just take the compliment. If people feel like complimenting you, it's because they see something good in you. I guess you can interpret it as respect and just feel good about it.

Maybe you missed it when I asked since I did have a wll of text, but I was wondering what were your thoughts on Project M Ganon in comparison to his Melee counterpart?

I'm already aware of WackaAlpaca's videos, but I prefer text tutorials for things such as BrawlBox. It also makes it easier to go back and add in things rather than trying to go back and edit a video.

If you were rejected, you can apply again the next we say applications are open unless otherwise stated.

Ya but feeling too good about it after a while can lead to bad things. Like becoming an egotistical *******, I've seen it happen quite a few times. The more power you have, the harder it is to control your ego because everything feels so nice and you can stomp on people whenever you feel like. Sure I can be like, that's ****ing right I'm so good, bow down! But that's not me, I like to be nice and humble because I think it's more ideal that way. I don't think I deserve things just because I'm good at something but at the same time it obviously has it's rewards too. I want to appreciate and be amazed at the niceness of people and... not take things from them because I think I deserve it, that mentality is dumb.

Let's see here.. the only big difference I saw from P:M Ganon and melee Ganon is the down-B angle from recovery.. it threw me off a bit... but other than that I had no trouble adjusting from melee to P:M. I mean the side-B recovery and the side-B usage as offensive tactics is really really nice. I said before if Ganon's side-B in melee would grab the ledge at least.. he would be really really good in melee since I mean his recovery is super terrible otherwise. Umm.. I'm not sure what else to say, I mean it's Ganon and you punch people, good enough for me. =p lol.

I get what you mean now, you're just modest. Heh, just shows you'd be fun to play with and that you don't look down on others. It tells me you're probably a comprehensive fellow. I hope I get into PMBR then, I really want to see you in action in P:M. I'm glad you're enjoying the new Ganon. I love playing him too.

You made me want to play you not just for your skill, but because you seem cool now :p.
