Well, if you look at the image location, it's named 2sighackedganonfair.gif So I think it was hacked.

ROB is legit, he needs more mains. I would main him if I weren't already pledged to Bowser, Falco, Ike, as well as ZSS when she comes out, and Mewtwo if he comes out. Which I think he will.

Did you really need the file name to tell you that?

You should have been questioning the middle gif instead.
I didn't need the file name, but I thought I'd point that out anyway. I suppose there could be some glitch only Magus knows about that allows Fair to do that, though.

That middle gif isn't a hack. I do it all the time.

There's no P:M on that stream. You didn't miss anything.

They played P:M for like 10 minutes until marth went in T formation and the game froze. They switched in melee and just played that for the rest of the day.

Just a bunch of dudes getting drunk and playing melee. That's literally all it was.

If Zelda was just somewhat harder to play I think the balance issue would solve itself.
Contrary to popular belief, Zelda is already hard to play against players who know wtf they're doing against her. Her lack of short burst mobility will always be a profound weakness in fighting characters who exceed her in this regard, for example all of them.

We're starting the stream now, but the tournament won't be starting until around 2pm EST.

A lot of MD/VA's finest will be here (Chillindude, Vist, Plank, possibly G-Reg), in addition to the Box of Danger Crew from Ohio. Should be awesome!

Traditional fighters are kind of terrible.

And please refrain from resorting to personal, off-topic attacks in this thread. If you have some beef with me take it to PMs or profile messages so I can just report it without having to get this mess strewn about this thread.
There's no beef. The point is that Street Fighter employs this concept of a move being safe on whiff, when travel time and reaction time are taken into account. You can throw a move out, and even if it doesn't hit, some characters can't punish because in order to be in range before you can block, they would have had to be in the space controlled by that move. Melee has some moves like this. Samus's utilt is safe on whiff against several characters, for instance. Charizard has a lot of moves that work together to make the others safe on whiff.

You should stop being so condescending of traditional fighters. I've learned more about Smash from playing and reading about other fighters than I ever learned from what Smashers have to say about the game.

Lmfao dude watch the last hour of the stream, drunk PEEF is lulzy as **** XD

http://www.twitch.tv/peefsmash/b/321590273 Skip to 3:33:00

At 4:00:00 PEEF becomes "that guy"

The stream viewers peaked at 33 and it just fluctuated from there.
It has all been deleted.

I broke my nose, lost my glasses, and got a $500 drinking ticket looking for them outside. Someone found them in the chair I was sitting in.

Anyways congrats to everyone! Too bad ryoko wasn't able to come out this time :p

Great matches, I'll watch the recording when I get time. Had stuff to do right when singles started, but I watched all of doubles :p

So, I got back from a tournament that had PM as an event a couple hours ago.

Managed to record Loser's Semis, Loser's finals, and Winner's Finals (Part 1) (Part 2).

There was no grand finals as the players split because they had to leave before grand finals could take place.

I should note that there was no official stagelist for this tournament, so all stages are either randomed, counterpicked from the preset random list I had on there, or agreed to by both players to play on.

... WAIT A MINUTE.

You go to TAG? Have I met you before?

But yeah, it was hot in Sac. Like, 103 or something like that.

I wish you were there, dude. We needed more entrants for PM. D:

I live in Santa Rosa. I haven't been able to go to tourneys much recently because I can never get saturdays off. Not sure if we've met to be honest. I don't recall someone named wofly.

I need to start going to sac tournaments. I don't even really want to enter melee anymore tbh but it'd still be fun to play friendlies and I'd enter a P:M tourney if there was one.

Bandit played all Zelda, and I think Roooster might've used her some. But yeah, no high-placing Zeldas anyway.

/ignoring the fact that if Ryoko had come, Zelda would've gotten 1st
