We're not including actual new SFX unless the File Patch Code gets updated to work with the BSRAR file. Forcing Riivolution limits our overall audience, and a fairly significant amount of our players actually use the hackless method.

You can adjust the balance of sfx to music. You could do this in melee as well.
but what the guy was talking about is that he finds some sound effects too loud and asked if it was possible to lower the volume on those... not just all the sound effects alltoghether...

edit: and gah... it's ok that smashboards put that stream up there for people to look at... but damn... they should have made it so it wouldn't show unless you clicked it out... i have 37 smashboards tabs... took a while to click off all those streams... and it took a while to figure out where the sound was cause none of those tabs were at the top of the page...

I meant, rebalancing them so they're more fun and aren't like a super-Starman. Really want to throw out a few ideas too, like giving Tink a Four Swords FS or making DK's not suck.

I don't think that they would do that anyway, but even if they wanted to, Lucas ruined the idea.

Yeah I wasn't sure if adjusting the relative volume of individual sfx required patching in new quieter versions of the sounds or if it could be done just by editing the BSRAR. I guess my question's been answered.

...huh? Project:M has unlocked the super.

That being said, have there been any significant changes to Lucario's "super meter" system since the demonstration vid? If so, could you list them and a download link to the most recent build?

Hmm, watching Apex I got to wonder, what the hell happened to Marth in P:M? :(
M2K was replaced by blue Marth, making him no longer a candidate for top tier. Other than that... he's Marth. There isn't really much to change outside of buffing his specials a bit. Therefore, he shouldn't be that much of a priority to playtest, if popularity was your concern.

Ah card games. Brings back such fond memories.

I've said it a few times and I'll keep saying it. The only thing holding Marth back is his terrible walking animation.

soo when can we see this? is the Sanic BRbuild ready to be shown publicly?

and also, should we be looking forward to some sort of character demos/tutorials to be underway? I believe Ryoko mentioned he would try to get something done before Demo v2's launch.

We really don't have much to talk about. Can you blame us, though? The devs are hard at work trying to **** a second release out of their *****, and nearly all of SWF is preoccupied with Apex, particularly how Chillin vs Leffen is going to destroy the world. It could definitely be worse. This thread could be the ****storm it was about a month ago, or we could be stockpiling porn hentai in here. At least the discussion going on is somewhat relevant to Project:M.

Also i have noticed that in the Demo, you keep a lot more momentum when shortening Falco's Phantasm than in melee. Has that been changed in the current builds?
