Edit: This isn't for tournaments by the way. Those are fine, I bring friends, and the age range is wider. The Issue is that tournaments are few, and I want to attend smashfests. That is where the problem manifests itself.

If I have to give up Smash and guitar, I seriously want to cry; they're my only hobbies and outlets and are both really important to me. I haven't looked much up yet on if it's treatable for good but if it isn't, I don't know what I'll do.

I have hand problems and I just deal with it, for me not playing smash/guitar would be more painful than the pain of playing.

I generally reduce hand pain in Smash by readjusting my grip and how much pressure I'm holding it with. I suspect many people hold them (controllers) too tightly or grip them poorly.
