Sounds like the reasons why I've heard people enjoy Evangelion because of all the hidden meanings and other such implications or something along those lines.

Never watched it though, so don't consider it a suggestion from me. but the option is there.
I've seen it and enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm waiting for the rebuild movies to be dubbed and released!
I've gotta say though, it's super disappointing that all the symbolism and themes mean NOTHING. I'm really hoping the final rebuild movie fixes this.
It's like a love/hate relationship with that series.

Eva is more about symbolism. Essentially they threw on a bunch of christian symbols and shots that don't really add anything but make the whole thing just more complicated to look at.
hmmm, I enjoy shows that make me think. I want to be able to be able to think about a character's actions/thoughts/intentions/etc. without them being flat out told to me. I guess I'd say that I enjoy shows that don't flat out tell you things and let you figure it out for yourself. This doesn't mean the plot shouldn't have a focus, it's just when it comes to the details and intricacies I like to be left wondering why they were included... whether they have a purpose or not. I also value shows that have interesting character development, not shows like Naruto or DBZ where all the characters want to do is be strong or save people or some ****.

That's a really good question that I really should think about more.
Do you have a show in mind that would illustrate that preference?

An anime? uhhh the most recent one that comes to mind is Attack on Titan.
Generally, I would probably enjoy a show with some sort of mystery to it.

Except Durarara feels like it just flat out ignores major portions of the plot. I can expound on that more if you'd like.
Minor Edit: I can't help but mention I still kinda liked it despite the few logic breaking portions that ruined it in a general sense.

Fullmetal was my life last summer. I'd binge watch it all night until I couldn't stay awake, stay asleep until about 2 PM, and do it all over again. This summer I'm dedicating my not sleeping to cramming for online PE because doing actual work during the week is dumb.

Quitting Smash to speed run Shovel Knight

Such a good damn game.
I see how that game could be fun from a gameplay perspective, but from video and screenshots I've seen it seems that all the colors doesn't contrast the player-character and enemies from the background. I feel like this could ruin the more difficult parts of the game, because visible enemies are a nice feature when you don't want your game to feel cheap.

I look into, thanks.

If you think it wouldn't spoil the series for me, go ahead, I'd like to know.
He's just salty that he got baited out by his own character.

I don't really see the problem there, that seems really minor. Looking back on it, the enemies do seem to blend with the stage, but the only time I've really been hit because of that is when a green slime was purposely hidden behind a green bush, which was in, like, the first stage. Besides, if that really bothers you then you can just change the color of your armor to fit the stage

My personal wish for Project M is that Jiggs is made to be something other than a worse Kirby, that the reeeeeally dumb unguardable recoveries from the other side of the screen are nerfed, and possibly Melee tethers to nerf tethers being annoying. Maybe Tethers could come in 2 forms: wall tethers and ledge tethers. Oh and maybe Samus could have one kind or the other depending on whether she is ice or fire Samus. Ok, thats my meta-breaking dream version of project M.

Because :salt::salt::salt: and more :salt: with lack of understanding something on top. This can be applied to any game actually cause if you are used to one version of a game and try out another game and you get beat in that game then a response like this will occur and given the image and voice he has he can influence others.

Meh, just wait until the next release. You may be pleasantly surprised by the balance tweaks you'll see then. I think we've grown a lot as developers.

I have yet to be disappointed, 3.0 is an awesome version of the game, and even if you made no balance tweaks and allowed the meta to change and evolve from this point I would continue to play.

I have faith in the PMBR to look at their work as a whole and make good balance changes that help Project M not be too neutral game oriented.

The negativity I've seen about the game taking forever or not being perfect while it's still being developed is just a symptom of impatient people not willing to wait and see things through to the end. Those people suck because they don't want the game to be better they just want to complain.

Is it just me, or can you control a CPU's shield if they are using the same player slot? Pressing L or R while a cpu is playing lets me do this for some reason.

Does anyone other than me think PM could switch to a 3-stock format and pretty much only benefit from it?

Just curious if it's worth pushing for. Characters, I think, tend to survive longer than they did in Melee, so it's worth testing out. Plus, if the scene grows, we lessen our chances for multi-day tournaments, which would be great.

I'm not absolutely hooked on the idea, I just think that matches tend to go on too long as is.
