My main issue with SAO is that Kirito is super powerful and considered attractive by every single female he runs into without explaining why he's so awesome.

At first he was a beta tester which explained a little of his knowledge but that was all the explanation given. He's a fairly short, normal looking dude and now apparently looks like a girl in Gun Gale Online after all he went through in the previous games. I don't get why people in his universe automatically like him when he isn't that cool or interesting.

I like what i've seen of it, kind of like Battlestar but with mechs instead of fighters, with interesting cell-shaded cgi animation.

I like it a lot! It takes the setting in different turns than SAO so its not like watching SAO all over again.

From what I've heard, if you like super bland shounen mary sue harems, then you'll dig SAO. Considering I neither like mary sues nor most of what is produced for the shounen demographic, and that I'm particularly weary of harems, I have no intention of ever watching it.

The first ep of this adorbz anime 'Barakamon' is out and I'm watching it's totally raising my mood. The child voice actor in it is awesome.

I got bored by episode 6 of aot but maybe I should try it again. I thought it was raw when main dude went giant mode and crushed ass.

edit: tbh I also got worn out by how excessively violent and disturbing it was to me, which usually doesn't happen. I know some ppl like that though.
