Matches take at most 4 mins with 4 stocks, so I don't see why going any lower is necessary.

MOST fighting games have 99-120 second matches MAX (give or take MAYBE 20ish seconds for supers or whatever that stop the clock). I get that Smash is different and can't be THAT quick, but imagine how nice it'd be if every big tournament wasn't either A. two days long or B. went until 2-3 a.m.

Been playing project M a lot with my friends for the past few months digging the balance and that I can have fun as just about everyone, I main Link, Marth and Zelda. And use a lot of others.. although I'm trying to figure out if I'm better with Marth or Roy hard choice haha

That was more in reference to my "if the scene grows" statement from a previous tweet. I feel like some big Melee or Brawl tournament went pretty late recently, but I've also been out of the game for a while so it may be longer than I think. This just always bugged me in general about Smash tournaments. Would love matches to be shorter so more people played different people.

Again, though, I'm not married to the idea. Just wondering if I'm the only one who thinks it would only help/would not hurt.

@ Vashimus I basically did. All my close-by friends who played moved out-of-state. I drive a big-ass jeep, so I didn't want to travel. Got a hankerin' to play again a couple weeks ago and found an itty-bitty scene growing about a half hour away from me. Thinking about jumping in again, though I still loathe the amount of gas I'm gonna buy doing so.

He plays Roy in PM. We entered both melee and PM at the tourney, I paid for him, he went 0-2 in PM not surprising since he isn't that practiced. But what surprised me is that in Melee, he lost his first set as Roy, then switched over to marth for his second set when he remembered I said he was better, then won it, and came to me and said, "Wow, marth is so much better!" So now I guess he mains marth in melee.

Tl;dr I doubt he wants to play jiggs lol

he was all "that's cool. i only play link."

i was all "grats! pm's the only game he's good in!" but on the inside i was all "dammit, boomerang all weekend..."

My little brother will only play with me If we turn on Smashballs. It takes like 45 min of eating lucario and mario final smashes for him to agree to help me record shield pressure/edge guarding jank.

Its still hella fun, I basically just go falcon/marth and combo into final smashes all day.

85% wheal of fortune upair combos into falcon final smash is too good.

I've only checked out Free! so far, I have glasslip downloaded but haven't found the time to watch it.

I've only seen like the first minute of Tokyo Ghouls, but it was against my will. I don't plan on ever watching that.

I don't really have any favorites, only things I can't stand. And that's mostly pandering, cheese, and bad writing. I'm pretty critical when it comes to the latter. If you're looking to recommend me something, I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not a fan of being recommended things.
