Well, this has been less than great so far. The Conker's tease was meaner than it should have been, and the Platinum game is all that I'm interested in. The Bruce Lee clip from EA was a nice touch, but not enough for me to buy the game.

I hope Capcom will announce something new at the Sony presentation. Too bad if something comes up it probably won't be one of the IPs I've been hoping for.

Nah, Conker is an alcoholic jerk and he's really saying "**** you Microsoft, the fans can make a better platformer than you or the shell that is now Rare can."

Which is all true and funny.

Stream isn't working for me.

Ubisoft probably announcing Watchdogs 2, Assassin's Creed Paris, and other yearly milkable franchises of questionable quality.

I think if Ubi didn't have Far Cry and Rayman (meh) people would think EA is as bad as Ubisoft, which is equally a terrible company.

Ubisoft isn't all bad. I played one of their Rayman games' demos and it's a pretty legit game. Like, it's actually incredibly challenging at times and pretty fun.

Main reason why I'm watching is to see where Ubisoft is going now.

Yeah, I was about to say. Rayman's one of the most challenging platformers in recent years next to Donkey Kong Country Returns. I enjoyed it.

The aesthetics of Rayman, the movesets, the puzzle gimmick and the demo levels I played of both recent games didn't do it for me.

Donkey Kong Country is so much more appealing to me in gameplay and aesthetics. DKC also moves the genre forward much more in innovation.

After Returns background scenery becoming part of the level was copied by everyone. I don't care if Virtual Boy Wario Land did it first, Returns perfected it.

Late response-- but is Konami even taking part in the next Smash anymore?
Also, Activision is Activision (Extremely greedy company) so unless Sony is willing to pay an enormous amount, I doubt they'll get to use Spyro. Who even owns Crash now?
And, as far as I know they're not nearly as bad with situations like this, they're definitely not strangers to using obscure characters or letting others borrow them. As far as I'm aware, they really just ask to be credited and of course payed a cordial sum.

Although I really hate all the really aggressive/outspoken non-Melee hate that comes from a handful of Melee players. If you guys aren't in the Melee Social FB page, basically either anti-PM/Brawl circle jerking and new people asking for help and getting flamed and called "post evo ****" or "Documentary Babies." Its not modded well so all the actual good discussions just get torn apart by trolls. Its pretty pathetic, and because thats the face of the social side of the melee community it sucks.

I'm in the group and I dont pay attention much but yeah I see it happen, Very disappointing. I believe that smash 4 is gonna the tear community apart like what brawl did but it's gonna be worse .

I don't see it being worse. Well at least I hope so. Obviously excluding the trolls, people who hated Brawl (and to a lesser extent PM) will probably dislike Smash 4 too. If those people aren't satisfied with PM, which is beyond any doubt the closest thing we will ever have to a Melee sequel, then I don't see how they will possibly enjoy Smash 4. But most of these people don't **** all over Brawl/PM as much as they used to, and they probably have their expectations extremely low for Smash 4, to the point of not caring what happens to it. It won't be like Brawl where over 99% of the community had high hopes for the new game. They won't start a fit when they realize that the game is not what they expected, simply because they already expect it to be thrash. Their reaction will be something like "welp, I knew it" as they quietly return to Melee.
