Is Ferrothorn really that good anymore now that there's Mega Venusaur? True it can set up hazards, but in terms of just walling most water types like it used to, it loses to three most common ones you'll see (Azumarill, Keldeo, Greninja).

It's still good but not amazing anymore cause of things you just said also the whole steel type nerf as well.

@ Saxophoneoftime Steel types got nerfed in 6th gen cause they got rid of their resistance to dark and ghost thus making the typing defensively weaker despite they got a buff with the introduction of fairy types.

I really doubt it. Recently Lambchops enters Melee single tournaments under the tag whiteboywasted. He entered Melee singles in SKTAR 3 under the same tag. Seems unlikely he'd use different tags for different games in the same tournament. Not sure if that's even allowed.

I remember in an interview with DaShizWiz, Zhu, or Lambchops himself that he had a younger brother. Besides the commentary of the one guy guessing that himself. Oh wait, I may have been thinking of DaShizWiz's younger brother.

gen 6 looks ugly as hell from a comp POV

pretty much every form of defense looks like piss when you compare it to top tier fairy types. also teams based around having five pokemon to baton pass to one character is probably the most boring metagame change on the planet

Bisharp, Empoleon, Metagross, Tyranitar, Gengar, M-Kanga

I've had the most trouble with those Pokemon in general, except for M-Kanga but I can imagine it's even worse.

After I charge me tablet, I'm bout to give u some trouble, on showdown, u can not escape my challenge, I've already locked eyes with you and the escape option is blacked out.

No problem, I'll just magically summon 5 top tier fighting types and M-Gengar (I'm assuming it's faster than regular Gengar).

It's just my main team keeps getting bopped by the first 5 on that list XD

I believe they set it up so only three pokemon are allowed baton pass on one team, so while it's definitely getting nerfed it's not impossible. even a team based around three pass users seem really boring and one-track-minded

Yeah XD It's just that my main team lacks fighting types, one Pokemon knows a fighting type move but it's not STAB so it only does so much. I'm not really into competitive battles though so this is more of an in game issue. Empoleon has good typing and Metagross has clear body and good typing

Something about Defog making suicide-leads less effective than past gens.

Even though Deoxys-D doesn't have to kill itself and Deoxy-S doesn't have to run a suicide-lead set.
