nevermind the ******** system mechanics of "only supers kill" causing tiers and MUs to be heavily dependent on a character's kill potential and not the rest of its character.
Yeah, even outside the less interesting cast than Smash (and I grew up with PS1 and 2), I really don't like the way you score in that game either.

I almost gasped when I saw the Dair followed by the Falcon knee, one of the most iconic moves of Smash. Hasn't ADO been in development for well over a year? It doesn't seem to be leaps and bounds better than when we first saw it. Still lacks any sort of reaction animations to being attacked and the blocking mechanics are very unclear.

Defintely lacks the polish of say Turbo Mode, which ADO is most analogous to more than anything else with it's universal on-hit aerial cancel system. A good prototype with one great looking stage and two fully fleshed out characters would have done wonders as a proof of concept to get people excited about the possibilities. Oh well.

That's why I said I feel like they're rushing. It's okay to be eager, but I think their overeagerness to get the ball rolling is quickly going to get them in a bind of some sort.

While there are some well known names up there, I dont believe they have enough of a reputation to raise that massive amount of money on their own. So it really hurts their cause to use such early prototype footage as their selling point.

Also those incentives aren't all that neat either lol.

Yeah, even outside the less interesting cast than Smash (and I grew up with PS1 and 2), I really don't like the way you score in that game either.
Yeah I don't know what the dev studio was thinking. They're clearly copying the formula of smash and they're fully aware of it's competitive scene, so It kinda baffled me when they didn't take a page from our notebook and used a life based system, but a point based one, that's inferior at that.

I would **** my shorts.... Would not expect them to be that far along already. I was thinking engine update, new neato option, new character (Yoshi?!) or projected release date.

STOP THE SPOILEERRSZZZZ U MOFFOFEIKWEFOJKOWEFJOWEFJO. Oh yeah that reminds me, the doc has a lot of swearing; you'd think Chillendude or such whomever would want to cut down on it for something making history but I guess it's best to be real

Damn, that was a good documentary bit. I have a feeling that getting bodied at my first tournament wasn't the familiar pang I was opting for...

What other projects our everyone following? here are some of the others I'm following:
Pokemon3D: Recreation of every pokemon game generation, in 3D, in one game. right now story wise they're up to generation 2. also has co-op with a non hackable global trade station http://pokemon3d.net/forum/news/

Pokemon Sage: Ever thought "man the last few Pokemon games sucked compared to the first few." and sad when replied by "Well make a better one." well BAM.
http://capx.wikia.com/wiki/Sprites

Mother4: Itoi the creator of the Mother series said if someone came up to him and said "I made Mother 4" he would like to play it.

So after GF of PM they have a "big announcement."

Considering they didn't hold off on announcing the clone engine for this, the only other thing I can think of is 3.0 release date.

Or...

...final part done
it is about 3 hours later than I expected to be up for
can I just say

the fact that we can do all of this
from some weird little thing that everyone were just known to play when we were younger
that we just. shaped it into this gigantic community, with all of this, by some amazingly beautiful accident
maybe we're maniacs, maybe we're some tiny, insignificant community in the grand scheme of things,
iunno.
but

it's all pretty amazing.

I need to sleep. I should do that

It makes me want to give up on making a documentary, because I'll never be able to tell such intricate stories the precise and near flawless way I'd want to

Seriously, someone should submit this for xyz blah blah awards. It's damn good

Really nice Sonic and Lucas here folks. Good matches so far from what I've seen.
For those who missed the stream, I just uploaded a few sets IN 480P! (We got a Live Gamer Pro!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1SsRr3waUE

We'll have more tomorrow showing off our new capture card, we'll be just starting/in the middle of PM when BH3 ends, so you guys should check twitch.tv/azprojectmelee for even more PM!

Also, I want to put more content on the channel. Like tutorials or something. What do you guys think would be good?

Oh **** that documentary.
That was great. Props to samox. I did not know the stories of old old schoolers like isai and stuff, being a '08er, and those were great stories.
